One moment, six years ago. The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it's the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart. Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it's slipping through my fingers? How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control? I can't lose her; she's my checkered flag.

"Full of love, emotion, and true life that makes the fantasy even more poignant...A master storyteller!" (Pepper Winters, author of Tears of Tess)
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
This book is only for those fans who have already listened to Colton and Rylee's story and, as we catch up with them, they're still very happy, deeply in love and they are about to be even happier..... overjoyed infact. Although they're still madly in love with each other someone from their past is out to destroy them and hopefully tear them apart - which adds drama, anguish and intrigue to the story. There is also angst when one of her precious boys is to be sent to live with his no good druggie of an Uncle which brings about heartache and regression of his spirits.... and Rylee is unable to help.
Then it loses it's pace slightly when Rylee becomes depressed as one thing after another goes hopelessly wrong and she is in a very dark place - but Colton's there by her side as the months pass looking after her, supporting her and doing all he can to bring his wife back to him. It's a heartbreaking look into an all too overlooked mental condition. Dual POV's and the narration, as always, adds depth and life to all the main characters throughout the passion-filled, frightening, heartbreaking, joyous, frustrating or romantic situations they find themselves plunged into.
Worth a credit? I've loved this series, it was brilliantly written, awesomely narrated and yes it's creditworthy BUT only as an addition to the previous books.
I am so happy with this final book. It was awe inspiring with all the ups and downs that really happens in life.
I would recommend these books to everyone I know that loves to read as well as the ones that don't.
Best books ever!
I love your writing K. Bromberg and will continue reading your books.
this was my 6th read in this series. I LOVED the trilogy of Colton and Rylee but this was just too heavy of a listen for me. I realize that it was very real and probably needs more attention to this condition but it is also very sad. I like a little drama in the books that I listen to which makes them interesting and the happy ending even better. this was just very depressing for me and made me sad. the beginning of the book was good and the very end. It seems like most of the book was about the depression. I wish there would have been more 'happy' chapters at the end. I guess I may seem shallow, but if I want sad and depressing, I'll listen to the news. I very rarely give a bad review but I wish I wouldn't have listened to this. Looking forward to happier subject matter in the next 2 books
absolute in Awww of this book. every book i have read ends with a happily ever after and a rainbow at the end but this one tells anout a common and realistic struggle before reaching the rainbow. i loved it and if there would be a story on becc's i would love it even more. ....
It's always amazing to see the growth of a character, or at this point Colton is as real as the person sitting next to me. I've always been in awe of Colton and his strength to endure anything and everything he's faced and he's no different in Aced. He shows us just how far he's come within the series, what kind of husband he's evolved into, and just how ready he is to be a father.
Rylee's story is just as touching to the heart. Bromberg has a way of writing true experiences and emotions that really tug at every string of the reader's emotions. Together, these two have fought many battles, weathered some big obstacles, and endured plenty of their own twists and turns. But their relationship is so strong that it becomes a reckoning force. Marriage isn't easy, and years into wedded bliss is no exception, this couple is tested again in Aced.
I savored every word and moment in this book. Colton and Rylee are very special to me, and I enjoyed all of the ups and downs they see in this book. I was raw with emotion once finished, but couldn't say anything less than how much I LOVED this story. Get the tissues ready, you might need a few.
As always, the narrators do a fabulous job bringing these characters to life.
I love this series and can't think of better narrators than Sean Crisden and Tatiana Sokolov. Their voices soothe the soul. I find myself looking for other books narrated by them.
Colton, of course. Even though men like this don't exist, one can hope.
Their voices, understanding of the characters make listening to them a joy.
In a world where greed and evil are ever present, love and understanding really can conquer all.
I hope this series goes on and on and the narrators continue to bring them to life.
Books, to read or listen I enjoy both curled up with one of my favorite book boyfriends has my full attention between the pages in his world
"K. BROMBERG IS BACK WITH OUR FAVORITE TWO CHARACTERS, COLTON AND RYLEE, SIX YEARS MARRIED AND THE SHEETS STILL BURN AND SIZZLE!!"
Our favorite two characters, Colton and Rylee, are Mr. & Mrs. Donavan, its been 6 years since the wedding and these two are hotter and sexier now then before. Wedded bliss, but a change is upon them, will it be a happy one and for both of them, K. Bromberg gives us our beloved Donovan's, along with Becks, Haddie, the boys, but it's 6 years later so things have changed, people have grown older.
-I do have to say AMEN to K. Bromberg, for tackling a controversial topic in today's society and for many women and bringing attention on this problem thru our beloved Colton and Rylee. I hope reading this story helps a lot of women. IT IS A MUST READ, WHETHER YOUR A FAN OR NOT, YOU WILL BE AFTERWARDS!!
BRAVO K. BROMBERG!! This too will be a FAN FAVORITE!! !
Tears are shed, smiles shown, laughs aloud, anger surfaced, rage exploded, means to an end and new beginnings are bright. Bravo K. Bromberg. beautiful ending to Ry and Colton
I've listened to the Driven Series so many times (and reach stand alone) I was over the moon to find out she was writing about Colton and Ryley's story again, especially after the epilogue of Crashed. This is just as amazing as any of the others. It really fills in blanks that always made you wonder (all though there wasn't really blanks, just curiosity) it was so amazing to read how Ace Thomas was brought to life, how that perfect marriage wasn't so perfect at times, but in Bromberg fashion brought it, them, back to reality. I may be a "little addicted" (ok a hell of a lot) to these characters, but this is a trilogy I will continue to read FOREVER! They don't seem so fiction, but could be your neighbors , friends, anyone.... you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK! I just wish there could be more. Of course she was able to pull this masterpiece off after Crashed when you didn't think there could be another, so who knows? I could only hope, dream.... cause I can NEVER get enough of Colton and Ryley, not to mention would LOVE another book about Colton's sister and Hawke.... way to go K bromberg!!!! Your a genius and always my go to author!
