Throughly enjoyable!

Would you consider the audio edition of Accidental Leigh to be better than the print version?

Personally, I enjoyed both equally. Hollie does a good job bringing Leigh to life.

Have you listened to any of Hollie Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first Audible I've listened to that has been narrated by Hollie, but I think she did a wonderful job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Either in print or audio, this book has me laughing. Leigh and her adventures with her witchy writing desk are pure entertainment.

Any additional comments?

Leigh has some serious mishaps in her accidental witchy adventures. Either she does't realize what she is doing or it just doesn't work out quite the way she hopes.

Yes I would listen to Accidental Leigh again, not only has Melanie James wrote an amazing book but Hollie Jackson was the perfect voice for it!

Leigh is my favorite character, I mean who doesn't love someone who is funny and sweet!

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hollie has brought the book to life! I could feel the emotions in the book which isn't something I could get by reading!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot during Accidental Leigh. It was a great read and I would recommend it to any and all of my friends!

A fun and comical start to series

A promising start to a fun and light-hearted series. Leigh loves a good romance book. When she’s inspired to become a romance novelist, she discovers there is magic in her words… however, her good intentions quickly lead to some hilarious scenarios as she uncovers that her new found witch powers aren’t what they seem and are causing more harm than good. Ending on a cliffhanger, I look forward to seeing where this series leads with how Leigh reigns in her witchcraft and a possible love interest, and the author’s clever titles for the series are an inkling as what’s to come. Hollie Jackson’s performance was excellent and I really enjoyed how she brought Leigh’s personality to life.

I loved these books!

I'm kinda surprised these books don't have more stars, to be honest! It's true they might not be celebrated literary works, but they're great light, funny reads with a perfect amount of romance and steam! Perfect escapism, in my opinion. And Hollie Jackson is superb, as always! I listened for free on Escape but will definitely be buying the series boxset. I know I'll want to relisten to all these again...and the spin off books!

Binge worthy!

This is the best new series find for me so far this year! I love the characters and the storyline! If someone would have written a review for these books that said if you have read all the Robyn Petermen, Eve Langlais, and are looking for their quality writing but with more humor I would have found this series sooner! Highly recommend!

Funny

This is such a fun book. Full time teacher deciding she will write and inherits a cursed desk. Her adventures learning how to use her witchy magic is hysterical

Accidental Leigh is hysterically funny

Accidental Leigh is the first book in the Literal Leigh Romance Diaries. Leigh is a teacher who happens to love to read. She decides that over the summer break she should write a novel. She starts looking for a desk and finds one for free. She soon realizes that this desk is not just a normal desk when things she writes start happening in real life.

This book is hysterical. All of the crazy scenes that Leigh writes had me laughing out loud when they became reality and they never had quite the same outcome that you would expect. Ms James has a way with words and she had me engaged from the first chapter and I couldn't put this book down. I cannot wait to read the next book in that series, Serious Leigh.

One of the most Memorable moments is Sarah and Bill's experience. It was absolutely hilarious!

Hollie Jackson brings voice and peronsality to Leigh that you just can't get in your own head.

My extreme reaction to this book - was laughter and more laughter.... Loved every minute of it!!!

This series is one of my favs. I had previously read this book, but listening to it on Audible made me fall in love with it all over again.. I cannot wait to listen to the whole series. I'm sure I will be listening to it again and again. Melanie did an Amazing job writting this series. Hollie Jackson did an Amazing job bringing this book to life.

I really enjoyed this audio. If you're like me and have a hard time finding the opportunity to sit down and read, audio is the way to go. When it's done well, as this one is, the book becomes even more enjoyable.
