I got this via audiobook boom. this book was about 28 minutes and was a very sweet story. Both the H and h are on a path that leads them to each other even though when they first met they were very small kids but this Christmas miracle is that even though S. Claus has a debilitating disease he comes home to help his son find the love of his life. So S. Clause Jr is reunited with the girl who was told that the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas was her walk. She always believed that it was. After experiencing the death of both her father then her brother in the same year she feels as if Christmas will not be as it should. But that is why Christmas is there. It celebrates the greatest gift that we could ever get. The birth of the one who will save the world.
I am a working woman in a man's world but it's ok because I really love being around men !! I've been happily married for 48 years!
This is a really sweet short Christmas story. I liked how Santa is portrayed! Meghan's narration was extremely enjoyable as always. She gifted me this in exchange for a review. I hope to hear more from her in 2017. She is among my top 5 narrators that I love to listen to!!
Tell us about yourself! : I am an author who loves to read, more like loves to listen, since I spend so much time writing.
A lovely story about expectations and hope. The story was much shorter than I expected, so I was surprised when it ended so soon. However, the author did a great job of covering her bases. I felt, throughout the book, that this would make a great made for TV Christmas movie. The story is a clean read, safe for anyone. My preteen granddaughter listened with me and enjoyed it. The narrator did a good job, and seems skilled at altering her voice for characters.
This was basically a Christmas short story. As long as you go into it knowing that, you can just sit back and be entertained for half an hour. It was very enjoyable! The story was fun and the narration was good.
This story is so short you would think it is chapter one of a book. I received it free of charge in exchange for an honest review. Sadly it is so short there is no time to get into any type of identity with the characters. The story is about a store on edge of failure. When a toy company entertains idea of helping out. There is so many loose ends in this that if it was a sweater I would say I only got the ball of yarn. The premise is there for a good little story but for me just like it is short, this fell short in delivering one.
A Santa for Christmas
: Carra Copelin
A short sweet Christmas romance story.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by the sweet voice of Meghan Kelly.
"I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator."
This is a really short but sweet love story. With it being so short it felt like the author missed an opportunity to really give you more information. And I did feel like I was missing some important parts. It's a nice and clean story that you don't have to worry if the kids walk in while your listening. And I love that it's centered around Christmas.
