Oh lawdy, I’m still sweatin!
The narrator keeps me coming back for more. Holly B Goe? More like Holly B God!
I’m still dizzy from the hot and heavy love making in this book. The author kept it classy though while indulging my smutty needs.
Let this be your guidebook for rediscovering your sex drive in small town, patriotic America.
Don’t worry, there is no mention of Trump...though to be real, there is also no mention of anyone who is non-white, straight, cis, able-bodied, or American.
Also I had a problem with Jenny.
Warning - some may consider the following a spoiler:
Apparently Jenny has a perfect body while also indulging a very real and concerning addiction to baking. This isn’t just problematic in its false idolatry of what makes a “perfect” woman, but isn’t it also kinda tropy? Like, this small-town girl/girl next door, is it really her dream to be a baker? I mean she was heading to Stanford right? Also wtf is everyone doing doubting her ability to succeed in her business. Starting a business isn’t rocket science and she has a mf degree in business. Ugh!
I’m ready for some intersectional smut in the next one maybe? Still, this met my needs.
