Not even half way through and WOW!!!

I have to be honest when listening to the first chapter I was skeptical if I were going to like this book but now I am on Chapter 4 and I have already decided it's going to be a winner!!! Again was not crazy about the female narrator but she is growing on me. This book has sassiness, sensualness, romance, and great sex scenes!!! Can't wait to get all the way through it.

I absolutely love this audio book. the storyline is different & I love the characters. I got so wrapped up in this book I just couldn't put it down.

A must listen!

Gotta love Laney and her witty personality in this book. The attraction between the characters kept me going until i finished the book and can i say that i did it all in one sitting. This one i will definitely listen to again and i can't wait until the next book comes out on audio.

Oooohhhhhh yea! I love the humor from the author and the way both of the narrators deliver is amazing! They were Great!

This book is great from beginning to end. I'm on my second time to listening to this book. I'm looking forward to another from C.L.Parker, I love her creativity.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Of course! Unfortunately i started this book late in the afternoon but it doesn't mean I didn't want to stay up to listen again to this book again.

not quite there

The storyline has potential but falls short one too many times. The main character is childish and annoying. There was opportunity to go deeper into the idea of a purchased woman to give Noah more edge and allow the reader to dislike him as much as Delane does but the author next takes us there.

Hit or Miss?????

There have been a lot of positive reviews on audible and so I went with the book on a whim. Overall the story was a good listen and I enjoyed it. Part way through I read the reviews on GoodReads and they were not as favourable. The part of negative reviews I understood the most was around narration. I struggled with Rubyy Jones’ narration of Delaine. She sounded too young and immature. I think that some of the authors' writing was not as funny because the character sounded too young. However, Rockwell Davis was a great hit for me. I actually looked to see if he had more books to listen to and was disappointed to see that he did not. I wish he had narrated the entire story. As for the storyline, it was good but could have used some more plot twists. It was simple. Billionaire wants sex slave, buys her and falls in love. I did enjoy when Delaine got feisty and stood her ground. This book has just enough to keep you listening and wanting more. Nevertheless, I still really liked the novel. I am going to get the next one and hope that the narrator is different for the female character. I also hope audible does not take forever getting it in audio format. So for me it was a hit overall as long as you are not looking for something wild and new it is just a good, enjoyable listen that keeps you interested all the way along. But please C.L Parker, get rid of Rubyy Jones. I am glad I used a credit for this book.

Yes. If there was a change in the female narrator.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The female narrator sounded like a teenager, not a 24 year old. Made the secrets even dirtier but not in a good way. Mr Davis was great, sexy-sounding and easy to listen to.

This book was unexpectedly good! I had not heard of this author and will be reading more from her! Ruby amd Rockwell do a fantastic job of reading the book! I highly recommend it!

Wow, Wasn't Expecting That

I purchased this on a hunch, I totally enjoyed the story Noah the arrogant alpha male and Delaine totally self sacrificing young woman, she makes the ultimate sacrifice for her mother and lives with her decision. Noah can't believe his luck and Delaine, she's strong, not afraid to speak her mind and he loves it. Yes it's erotic, but oh so much more. You will just have to find out, yourself. Narration was excellent.

Absolutely

Noah. He just is so sexy in such a strong man. That is very desirable

The end of the book had such a cliff that I couldn't wait to listen to the next book.
