The Mackenzies gather for a clan Christmas and Hogmanay in Scotland. In the chaos of preparations for the celebration - the first of Hart and Eleanor's married life - one of Ian's Ming bowls gets broken, and the family scrambles to save the day. Daniel busily runs a betting ring for everything from the hour Eleanor's baby will arrive, to whether Mac's former-pugilist valet can win a boxing match, to who will be the first of the many guests to be caught under the mistletoe. Ian begins a new obsession, and Beth fears that the loss of one of his precious bowls has made him withdraw once more into his private world.

First Thought when Finished: A Mackenzie Family Christmas is a must read for those that have read the series so far.
Overall Thoughts: Super short review: Read this book and get all the warm fuzzies. For a very tortured family it was nice to see most of them happy and surrounded by love!
Narrated By Angela Dawe / Length: 5 hrs and 7 mins
Angela rocked it! :)
Final Thoughts: Love this series! It is a must read for historical romance fans.
I liked this Christmas story touching on all the brothers and their wives and how things were going since the children were born. I also liked being present for little Alex's birth.
i love all the characters in this series. very easy to get lost in the description of the Highlands.
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
It was a nice update on the lives of the Mackenzies! I still love Ian the best! The 4 Mackenzie brothers are well and in love and making families and many new characters have been introduced. I really like this narrator and recognize all the characters the moment she starts reading! I had fun listening!

This is a nice story that involves all the characters together in a holiday setting. Very heartwarming and an excellent continuation of a loveable series.
I first read this one on my kindle, but had to have it to listen to. So far I have not been disappointed in any of the stories about the Mackenzie family. This gave you a kind of update on the whole family and what was going on in each couples lives. I wish more authors would do that. This story puts Ian and Beth back in the forefront which delighted me. Ian and Beth awwwww what an exceptional couple they are.
Totally addicted to Audible.
I got this book for $2.95 because I bought the Kindle book first. Since that was free it was a great deal. Even though it was set around Christmas it would be enjoyable any time of year because the characters are interesting and the story was fun. Have yourself a jolly good time with this one.
This is a nice little cherry on top. I loved the story and stepping into the world of the Mackenzies again. Not over done; just right. A perfect book to listen to while stuffing the turkey or wrapping Christmas gifs.
NOTHING!! After this series I will never listen to her again. She has absolutely no emotions in her voice at all.
This was a nice get-together for the Mackenzies. I wish I could have seen the room with the dominos that Ian did. It sounded amazing. I'm off to read/listen about Elliot McBride now.
I hadn't expected to do this one as an audio book but I'm glad I did. Angela Dawe is one of my absolute favorite narrators for romances. If you haven't read at least the first 4 books of the Mackensie/Highland Pleasures series then you'll be a bit confused and you'll be spoiling some good plot points when you do get a chance to read them. This interlude at Christmas and Hogmanay is has a little of each of the Mackenzie brothers and thier wives as they all have something going on. It's a nice holiday read, but get the first four books done first.
