The invasion of Britannia.
The legions invade in a frenzy of brutality and aggression, and one of the defending Celtic warriors is forced to flee the battle to embark on a frantic rescue mission the isle of Druids where a young girl is due to be sacrificed.

Hold on to your crest holder!!!
What a ride through the Roman invasion of Britain. Well written, not over accurate, but really exciting. So good you want the next book in your library because you don’t want to listen to anything else. A novel and a history lesson.
The reader is amazing. A must listen!

Tired and predictable storyline
Good use of historical events. Good performance by the reader. However, the storyline was predictable, tired and improbable.
