Publisher's summary

What’s an elderly woman to do when a lich destroys her home and tries to take her life? Why, she gathers up her friends, her kitties, and her newfound powers as a hybrid core and gets to work.

With only 199 days to deal with the lich, Florence must take the dungeon she calls a home on the road and eliminate the source of the lich’s power: infected dungeon cores.

Whether these infected cores will become enemies or allies remains to be seen, but they aren’t the only threat Florence and her friends will face. Others will seek to use Florence’s unique nature for their own gain or destroy her for what she has become. A powerful lich, the adventurers guild, and even a grieving king will stand in her way, but Florence has friends of her own and the best thing in the entire world at her side… her kitties.

Join Florence in the epic conclusion to the Cat Core series.

excellently wrapped up

An excellent way to wrap the series! Not disappointing and a full complete story, though I do wish some plot points were explored a little more.

a fitting end

as much as I'd love to continue the adventures of Florence and Doug, this book was a fitting end. well written and with a good flow, I only wish it had been longer. as always the amazing Andrea Parsneau knocked the narration out of the park.

Excellent ending

No spoilers! But I am very happy with how this trilogy ended. I would like more in this universe, but it ended well.

wonderful conclusion to a funny & heartwarming st

my kids (9&7) and I have absolutely loved listening to the story of Florence Valentine and Dug.
This last installment was beautifully done, we were excited about the action, sad about the potentially sad moments. always impressed with Florence and a delightful conclusion to the whole story.

thank you for giving us hours of driving entertainment...

Absolutely fantastical I havent even read the first 2 and this was great!

I picked this up on a 2-1 sale as it looked interesting and it delivered in spades. Low to no profanity or objectionable content, a lovely story and fun growth. It sounds like it is different than the first 2 in story progression but that just makes me want to listen to those when I can get them even more. Fun cats and abilities, a nifty way to prevent the over leveling phenomenon in litrpgs by creating rules to balance the BBEG directly instead was novel and felt well done. It was very nice. I loved it. I would not mind a sequel series in the same world :)

Don't miss this Road Trip!

Ohhhh man, I love Road Trip. Once Florence receives her marching orders from Michael she rolls up her sleeves/core and hops to it! It's time for a Road Trip "No Dawdling" as she's on a time-limit. Her mission: to stop the lich, if possible. And this trip is soooooooo much fun.
So grab the audiobook and let Andrea Parsneau take you another realm in this final book. You won't want to miss out!

Here's a couple of quotes that amused me:

“Yeah, we kind of took him in, like a stray, but he’s more useful and less smelly than most strays,” Florence said.

"Beware of Doug."

Death can't hold a candle to friends

In this final story, Florence and Doug took on their nemesis and won. I loved that Florence could move about and meet people, including other cores. The end was a welcoming surprise, I wish I could visit Florence and Doug's new home, but I guess I can only do that in this book.
