Inspiring Story of How Brokenness Leads to Bold Faith
Jesus promises peace and trouble for his followers. But most of us accept the peace and are confused and angry when adversity comes our way.
All-American soccer star Mo Isom knows the struggle firsthand. While her life seemed like a success, she was battling an eating disorder, the suicide of her father, and a horrific car accident. It wasn't until God wrecked her life that she discovered the glory of renewal through Jesus Christ and that wreckage can be sacred rather than scarring. Listeners take the journey from broken to bold with her and learn to surrender their lives to the king who was wrecked on their behalf.

I love how real Mo is during the whole book. I love how she also speaks with Gods truth throughout each page. It's helped me walk through my own personal journey of grief and life. I would recommend this to any friend or family member!
Mo, thank you for your story and incredible transparency. In a world where it's common to hid behind filters and lies, your authenticity is incredible.
I am currently going through a year where God has wrecked my life and I understand that eventually it will be used for his glory. I'm recovering from a bad car accident and still have a bit of post concussion syndrome, but this was the first book in a year that I completed, much less read within a three day span! Must-read especially if you are in need of inspiration while in a dark place.
From start to finish, every word, every sentence, every moment the author, the daughter, Mo shares with us, is a bridge from God. This book- this LIFE, not only brought tears but brought victory to my eyes. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your own life, your wreckage has helped me acknowledge and face my own. May God bless you immensely...always Mo. Thank you.
Mo's articulate and beautiful writing is refreshing, her story heartbreaking and powerful, her faith eye opening and encouraging. Loved this book...it will stick with me and be a point of reference to refresh my soul as a reminder we're not alone in this world going through adversities. And that HE has overcome this world!
"Well worth a listen"
I thought this story was very honestly and powerfully told and the author's faith really shone through. Quotes from the Word of God were weaved in which was a wonderful bonus for me and helps the book to resonate. It is a story of transformation in Christ that will inspire those who have faced struggles. The chapter on eating disorder and the role the enemy plays in this was very revealing and a helpful insight. I think Mo could really help young girls and be a role model for them. I hope she's getting the opportunity to witness in schools. God bless
