If life is about the journey and not the destination, could it be that this is heaven - this physical life we are living here on earth? What we experience in our daily lives often feels like anything but heaven. But what if we understood how powerful we are - that we are powerful enough to mold both our internal and our external realities?
Anita Moorjani, the New York Times best-selling author of Dying to Be Me, is convinced we can do exactly that. The process, she explains, requires dismantling many cultural myths mistaken for indisputable truths. Beliefs such as "we get what we deserve", "loving ourselves is selfish", and "coincidences are just that - coincidences" are ingrained within us from birth, pervasive and influential, leading to generations of misguidance.
Following her near-death experience, Moorjani began to embody truths she learned in the other realm, discovering that letting go of these outmoded myths allowed her to experience heaven not as a physical place but as a state of mind right here and right now. In this examination of our common myths, she shares stories and examples from her own life, revealing the lies beneath the surface of what she was taught and absorbed. By freeing ourselves from these falsehoods, Moorjani asserts, we can leave fear, heartache, and self-imposed boundaries behind and instead live lives full of purpose and joy.

I love her story, her voice and the way she describes events so clearly and in such an interesting manner.
None that I've ever read before.
No, but I sure plan too. I am a big fan. I hang on her every word. She is so engaging. I love her positive attitude.
The vicious bullying she endured as a child and the way she has totally moved past it with a positive attitude and an understanding of what might have caused such cruelty.
She tells of things I have concluded at times about the afterlife and hoped to be true. It is very reassuring for the future.
I recommend this book to everyone on this planet!! It will help to create a better world. Anita Moorjani's teaching can really help to accept and love ourselves more. Read her first book first "Dying to be me" to have a deeper understanding of her message.
I truly believe this is the most important book I've ever read. I encourage everyone to read it and find it changing my complete mindset. I'm so grateful for Anita sharing her experience and wisdom with all of us. I hope she continues to write books and I hope that she'll one day branch out to books that teach children. Thank you Anita!
Yes, I believe most people would benefit from Anita's message
Yes, it made me laugh.
The book is neither badly nor well written, and I feel that Anita overexpands her stories sometimes, including unnecessary details (e.g. the long story of Gen Thai). However, this book is worth a listen since Anita's message is one of love and truth, and I believe the book gets to the point, although a bit slowly.
Thank you Anita for writing this book. It's a much needed message about love, acceptance, and self-acceptance of all of the human emotions. A love unconditional, not only for others, but for ourselves first. There is only one way to have peace in this world, it is through finding it within ourselves and making peace with ALL the parts of ourselves and then spilling that over into the world. I know it must have been hard in the beginning adjusting to human life again after dying, but I'm so glad you did. Thank you. CJ
Different from her first book (in style) but so interesting all the same. I can get enough of Anita Moorjani and her message! I can't wait for her next book.
Anita put into words so eloquently all her experiences and encounters that there are many times when tears would well up in my eyes while listening to her, as if I am also there watching her encounters. More than that, I relate to most of it that I could not help but be so grateful for my soul to prompt me to buy this audiobook. I do hope that Anita will continue to write more books and help us also apply here in this realm how it is to become our true selves and to be one with the universe.
Everything. Similar to Dying to Be Me audiobook, I am thankful it is her who narrated her book.
Becoming one with the universe. I am not so good at titles. But definitely hoping this could reach so many individuals, as there is a portion on how to encourage kids to become their true selves and our loved ones as well
Worth more than I paid for
Both in person and through the medium of her books Anita is a very well grounded lady who is inspirational and completely at peace with the world with a healthy dose of common sense and fantastic insight 💞 cannot recommend this book enough
"Another beautiful book by Anita 💗"
Although I absolutely love Anita's first book Dying to be me, when I heard of Anita's 2nd book, my first thought was 'she has shared the most amazing experience in her life, what more could she write?'. I am so glad I downloaded her 2nd book, it gave me lots of comfort. I love how human Anita is when she shares her challenges after her NDE, I love how much compassion I felt when she shares others' stories and I love that I know I love myself more and more when she reminds us to love ourselves and how much I started to accept myself and others since I've read her first book.
Thank you Anita, much love and peace. My next audible book is Wayne dyer reading the tao te ching by Lao tsu.
A wonderful book by a wonderful person. A great catch up and extension of her first book.
Lovely narration. emphatic voice and beatifully woven emotions. Soulfood for actions , mind n everyday thoughts.
"Thank you, beautiful book"
this is exactly what I needed to here right now to help me on my journey. This has helped on so many levels and I love the myth busting ideas. I feel a release of all the boxes I'm trying to fit myself in, in order to find my truth and life's purpose. Thank you for making this journey enjoyable again and a step toward finding my true self.
"on Being Human when choosing Heaven on Earth"
Earth definitely feels like heaven when sharing with loving others. Anita did a wonderful job at bringing her wisdom and experience to a level where I felt we were having a conversation. It is a book with so much clarity, simplicity and applicability. She is definitely someone I hold dear in my heart and I am so glad to read such liberating wisdom in words.
