He makes a great point with a tough subject. The end of the day God gave it to us so we need to obey and tithe. This book will help put things into perspective if you are struggling with giving. It's chocked full of great examples and does not follow prosperity teaching "If you give you will be rich". Scriptually based
Most people plan financially for earthly retirement but rarely do people plan for eternal retirement. Heaven has the greatest return one could ever hope for. This book has made it very clear to me on how to invest my money wisely. I love this book!!! And I'm so grateful that my friend suggested it to me!!!
The book provided a timely reminder on the question of where our priorities should lie. The application is not always easy, but the reader will understand the principle more clearly
Paul's narrating style is easy to listen to, albeit a little dull at times.
An easy way to absorb vital information
I first read this book 8 years ago. It completely changed my relationship with money and has led to great joy in giving and in investing wisely for God's kingdom. If you are sick of money kicking sand in your face and would like to finally have a healthy relationship with money this is the book you need!
I believe the author's own personal experience heavily influences his interpretation of what the Bible has to say about money. His views are extreme and do not provide a practical starting point to the great blessing of giving.
