Be the imitator of Christ you are called to be
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. (Jeremiah 29:11)
We as Christians are designed to be beacons of light in a dark world. To be a light, we have to have light on the inside, that's where Thinking by Design comes in. A day by day devotional to help keep you on the right track in positive thinking.
Each day features a related Bible verse and a little blurb around the topic for the day. If you want to be an imitator of Christ, you have to think and act like him. Jesus was the most positive uplifting person to ever walk the earth.

It makes me happy to wake up everyday and look forward to listening. Many times I listen while doing artwork. I find it very relaxing.
I really enjoyed listening to "Thinking by Design" written by Benjamin Chapin and narrated by Jay Prichard. It could not have come at a better time. This made my day and I fully intend to focus on the 30 day 'tune up' that I need as a Christian. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from this audiobook.
I can see how we probably can't avoid some of the negatives that we encounter from day to day but the positives need to be and should be greater and that is something that we ourselves must stay on top of. I loved all the daily lesson plans in this book. I especially liked the day of planting seeds. Planting lots of good seeds and allowing them grow. Yes. I liked the idea of learning to say yes more often because by always saying no we close the door on possibilities or opportunities that may not come our way again. And when and how to say no. That's setting boundaries which we all have. Above all, day one of thinking before acting or speaking is priceless.
Overall, I loved this book and I can take the time to do the work of incorporating more positivity in my daily life which will be a goal I'm setting for myself. This was a well formatted audiobook with easy access to each of the thirty days plus a bonus chapter. I'll be listening to this one again and again.
Jay Prichard did a great job narrating this audiobook. In fact, he did so in a positive way which made it resonate even more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in reinforcing their faith and outlook for better living.
I requested this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review. Thank you.
