Phenomenal book and phenomenal reading!

I enjoyed every second of this audiobook! It was just what my soul needed. Joe Rigney writes in such a beautiful prose that captures your attention and engages your emotion. Sean Runnette’s performance was perfect. If you are looking for answers to questions about loving the world and loving God or if you seek a deeper understanding of what to do with suffering in your life, read/listen to this book!

Wonderful

Important corrective for the ascetic tendencies of modern evangelicalism. A call to enjoy God's good gifts.

Great Book, Narrator could be better

Excellent book; I learned a great deal. Very Biblical, and I will instigate some personal changes because of the truths here.

Only complaint is the narration. Reader’s voice stayed on the quiet side too much. I found myself having to turn the volume up, then down as the reader’s volume adjusted.

An Amazing, Enlightening Book

This book was an answer to a prayer and a deeply enlightening read. Not only was it instructional, helpful, biblical, and edifying, it also produced a deep joy in me while I read it. I recommend every serious Christian read this book at some point, but most especially if they're feeling guilty about enjoying God's good gifts in the world.

Great book!

Receive with immense gratitude and give lavishly. The Triune God out of abundance of love gives lavishly. "... what do you have that you have not graciously received" 1Cor 4:7. I loved the book so much. there is a deeper understanding and comfort of the enjoyments God has graciously given.

Beautiful!

Loved this book! It stretched my mind in appreciating afresh the goodness of God to His creatures. It helped me better understand what is meant by Christian hedonism. I believe it will help free me to enjoy the pleasures that God has graciously and abundantly bestowed—yet, always mindful that one must not worship the gift over the Giver.
I also enjoyed the narrator. Sean has a very unique style.
