It compares closest to the chronological Bbible because it is the story of the Bible in the order in which it occurred- but not every word. It starts at the beginning, uses the Bible to tell the story, then for the passage of time to next Biblical event the historical record of what was occurring in the world during that time is told. Nothing is added to any biblical teaching but it flows from beginning to the probably soon-to-come end times in a way that the picture of God's plan is clear.

It's the Bible. There are no characters. These were real people going through real events.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The crucifixion of Jesus. It should never cease to move me or anyone else the supreme sacrifice paid so none have to eternally perish.

Any additional comments?

Highly recommend it for those already believers and for those who don't fully understand the Gospel but would like a slightly detailed overview. God's word never returns void so the end result of many reading would most likely be many saved.

Wonderful to listen to and easy to understand. I enjoyed listening in the events before bed to have time to really take it in. I highly recommend.

He is the Alpha & Omega

Wow! This book is truly inspiring and i’m a youth. My father told me to listen to this book and at first I didn’t want to but after a couple chapters, he touched me. Not my father but the father, the lord. Listening to this book was like listening to my lord telling his story of his times. Kinda like a grandpa telling their grandchildren their stories of their lives. This is loving and heart-warming story. Truly gave me a different perspective of life and who God really is. My name is Matthew, i am the “gift from God” and with his word and love, i will change this world for the greater good.God bless you.

what's not to love about the greatest story on earth! I do recommend to anyone.

Very good listen

I was skeptical about this listen, because I thought I would focus more on the thing I am familiar with in the bible instead of the focus being on task with the narrator. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to stay with the narrator.
I chose this listen because it is my desire to remain in the word and KNOW the story of Jesus. This was a huge help, I heard things I missed while reading.
So glad for this purchase I listen over and over.

So Glad I Found this Book!

I've long wished the Bible was put into a way one could read (or hear) it in order of when events happened. The Story does just that! A few of the voices could have been better, but all in all, it's a wonderful book. I'll listen to it again!

What can one say?

It doesn't just give highlights, it gives the Bible a complete narrative. The Bible would be the best thing to read/listen to but this comes in close.
