The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim: The Untold Story of Fallen Angels, Giants on the Earth, and Their Extraterrestrial Origins

The ancient books of Genesis and Enoch tell us that sprit beings known as the Watchers descended to the Earth, had sex with women, and begat a hybrid race of offspring known as the Nephilim. Such tales are as old as humanity itself. These histories and accounts of visitations and subsequent mixed-blood, alien-human races comprise the bulk of the world's myths, legends, religions, and superstitions.

Publisher's Summary

The ancient books of Genesis and Enoch tell us that sprit beings known as the Watchers descended to the Earth, had sex with women, and begat a hybrid race of offspring known as the Nephilim. Such tales are as old as humanity itself. These histories and accounts of visitations and subsequent mixed-blood, alien-human races comprise the bulk of the world's myths, legends, religions, and superstitions.

The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim examines:

  • Elohim and the Bene Ha Elohim - God and the Sons of God
  • The Watchers: UFOs, extraterrestrials, angels, infiltrators, and impregnators
  • Biblical and apocryphal sources from Enoch to Moses
  • The role of the Fae, Elves, Elementals, and ancient gods

What if the old spiritualties and religions weren't just legends?

What if there was something living and breathing beneath the surface, a tangible interlinking of religious thought and spirituality, science and myth, inter-dimensionality, and cold, hard fact?

    "Nothing Here"

While the book is well written, it is mostly speculation and not even documented speculation. The work meanders and large parts of the book are spent in the guise of creating the foundation for speculation and how the speculation can be validated.

It was a complete waste of my time, and I am deeply saddened by the lack of scholarship.

    "Prerequisite: Book Enoch & Genesis"
    Any additional comments?

I felt I was listening to a compilation of the most bizarre/rare/debatable passages taken from the bible and non-canonical books. The author however did not add much insight to these passages. Instead he brings each one of them to our attention with the purpose of making us think and draw our own conclusions. I’m glad I read the Genesis and the book of Enoch before I listened to this; otherwise I wouldn't have understood it. I felt angry at times because not much additional information was given, I wish the author would have at least offered more… He did a lot of research though, I can tell he spent time going over their history. I wouldn't recommend this book for Christians as it touches a lot on passages from non-canonical books, Alien theories, secular history and non-factual stories. Interesting to listen to nevertheless. I also picked up a couple of new Ideas and concepts I didn't know about.

    "WHAT?"

One must ask, Where is my mind? I thought I would fill my mind with some knowledge on Angels getting busy with us earth women to create half-breed babies, the Nephilim.. I got dizzy with his many names & definitions with big words I might add, could of made it easy for the simple mind Showoff !! I need to go to church to get more in touch with God cause I lost him in that first hour of this audio. Is he a giant? Is his name Eloheem(spell check). Not judging but maybe this book was written while on a major trip (you know what trip I mean)that lasted however long it took to spit this chaos on audio??.. I am making fun of myself because I thought I could take it on and learn about Angel babies, but I think the entire bible and book of Enoch was mixed in and tossed around.. Digest all of that and take a big breath is what he said...lol...
Dear God please drop one of your Angels down or send a Nephilim to my door to explain this book and give me wings, I can have children if need be... <3

    "dumb"
What would have made The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim better?

If it was less reactionary. If it was celebrating mythology and it didn't take it so damn literal it might be entertaining.

Has The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim turned you off from other books in this genre?

    yes

What does Charles Bice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    nothing

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    no

    Any additional comments?

Incredibly redundant. He draws huge conclusions from the inconsistencies in bible verses and the uses of different words for sons of god. Lots of reading long passages from scripture with a very uninteresting point of view considering its supposed to be about giants/aliens/mythology... If you aren't a Christian you wont like it even if you do like mythology.
