Story Gives You A-lot To Think About

Narration was good, even my 13 year old was interested. Book gives you a-lot to think about. Story was recommended to me by a friend, I would reccomend to others as well.

Tremendously encouraging.

When God is seemingly absent, He is closer than ever. This book is very comforting when God doesn't make sense.

would you serve a master you didn't understand

puts the deep hurt and heartfelt disconnection we feel from our master we don't understand him, we never know why we suffer but will we serve him even if we do even in our last moment before death will we not be angry with him, old John the Baptist had a lot to be angry at God over but I imagine he chose not to be angry he just said OK with a thankful heart and died in hope he'd be ressurected and I believe he was and went on to paradise after all he did it once couldnt have been that hard to overcome when he came up in the ressurection

Absolutely Awesome

Do you trust God? Are you offended with His silence? Give your expectations to God instead of your questions of, "Why?" Learn to trust the Shepherd of your soul.....

Riveting from Start to Finish

Most memorable line... "Blessed is he who is not offended in me" because it reminds us so powerfully of God's sovereignty.

Who really was John the Baptist?

This book takes you on a wonderful journey through a historical fiction look at what the life of John may have been like. But the greater story is one of the unanswered questions believers may have when enduring trials, suffering and seemingly unanswered prayers in this earthly life.

Epic & Humbling

I adored this book and it’s Narrator, Paul Michael. Looking forward to hearing more books read by him. The Author, Gene Edwards unveiling more revelation on walking a simple and humble life. Profound and undone!
