Publisher's Summary

Why is it that so many people start out with a clear mental picture of where they want to be relationally, financially, and professionally and yet years later find themselves far from their desired destination? Why do our expectations about our own future often go unmet? What if you knew the answer to those questions? What if there was one simple idea that explained why so many people get lost along the way? There is.

It's called the principle of the path. And not only does it explain the disappointment and regret that characterize the lives of so many, but it also provides a way for you to be the exception. As you are about to discover, the principle of the path is at work in your life every single day. Once embraced, this compelling principle will empower you to identify and follow the path that leads to your desired destination. And this same principle will enable you to avoid life-wasting detours along the way.

"Great Practical Success Book For Christians"

This book is a great practical success book for Christians. I like Pastor Stanley's statement that it's your direction, not your intention, that determines your destination. It's not what you want to do or plan to do - it's the little habits you indulge in every day - that will eventually lead you to your final destination. Great truth that will set you free to achieve the best in your life.

    "Excellent Book"

If you are looking for a practical, no-nonsense, Christian perspective to getting your life on the right track???this is an excellent read/listen. I???ve heard Andy Stanly many times (via podcast) and although the author does not read it, the narrator does a good job in keeping similar nuances. Very few non-fiction books have captured my attention to listen multiple times; I am on my 3rd time through this book.

    "The Principle of the Path"

Every 18 year old, even mature 16 - 17 year old person and older should read this book. The teachings in this book change your overall thinking about everything. The fact that the path you choose leads to where it leads no matter what you think about it, where you come from or who you are is so needed today. That path; financial path, parenting path, spiritual path or any other way (path) you choose leads to where it leads to is a principle. Really, and Mr. Stanley says it a few times, this principle is obvious but I can't think of a better time to remind us of this fact.

    "Valuable Life Lessons"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely. This is a book that will be equally enjoyed by young adults just starting their paths in life or those of us much further down the road.

    Any additional comments?

Andy Stanley provides concrete illustrations of the powerful principle, "Direction—not intention—determines our destination." Solidly biblical and profoundly practical.

No one puts messages across simpler than you Andy. This book went straight to the point. I plan on doing everything it says. Very good book. Well done Andy!
