One may not understand the importance of this book until you get further into it. Be patient. It shows it's worth as one realizes the prophetic message revealed and how it is completely in line with today's politics. Amazing!

Best book I have ever listened to, sans Bible.

Every American that loves and cares about this country needs to listen to this book. It will just overwhelm you with details and the analogies from ancient Israel to the United States today. Stunning!

Seems like a stretch.

It seems as if the author was bending over backwards to make the reign of Ahab and Jezebel correspond to "reign" of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
I am an Evangelical Christian and even for me, this was a stretch.

TRUTH BEHIND THE NEWS

I wish every professing Christian would read and study along with this book. For those who are Bible students and led by the Holy Spirit and who clearly discern the times, this information is not new, but already understood. I am so glad the author clearly
explained the parallels between Israel and America.

Preparation

My Bible study group is studying Kings and Chronicles which gives the setting of this work.I would suggest reading the Scriptures in preparation before starting the book. It sounds tedious, but getting to know the characters beforehand is very beneficial. Knowing who Jezebel and Ahab were and what they were capable of will give greater understanding to the book. Excellent, but unsettling. Makes you want to examine your own heart.

If you’ve ever had any doubts about the over- arching Sovereignty of God and His arrangement of all things - you will no doubt be a believer after listening to this book.
