Publisher's summary

The argument for God's existence is here clearly stated and definitively refuted. The so-called "ontological argument" for the existence of God was first put forth explicitly by St. Anselm. There are different versions of this argument. We'll consider three, starting with Anselm's own.

best explanation of ontological argument ever!

It was so clear! 'God exists in my mind', says the author, means 'I know what conditions x would have to satisfy to be God', not 'a mini-God exists in my mind.' The rest follows, with wit and energy.

Thank you! Clear and to the point! I feel that I understand this topic much better. Can you be my philosophy professor?
