I started listening to this book over a year ago and I wasn't ready. I tried going straight through and there was just too much meat. I started again a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did. My heart was ready and I had just completed the Word of Promise (dramatized Bible which is AWESOME).

If you think God is big, AW Tozer will show you He's bigger. If you think think God is forgiving, he'll show you He's more forgiving than you can imagine. He'll show you what a perfect, sovereign, merciful, loving God we have that wants a intimate relationship with us.

I listened to a chapter or two a day as there is just too much meat to take in one sitting. This is an excellent book and highly recommended.

A.W. Tozer was an amazing author, teacher, and man of God. This is a fantastic book and a solid performance by Scott Brick.

Inspiring

This is a wellspring of passion to draw close to God in a truer heart. There are reminders for the longstanding Christian and to those newly come to The Lord Jesus an opening of the eyes to a truer relationship with God that asks to throw off the worlds deceptions that are so easily taken as acceptable in daily life. It’s a calling to look at our days intentionally, deeply and throw off the world’s influence that may have crept into our spiritual life. Look at a Holy God and answer His call to be Holy because He is holy. We will never be as Holy as He(with out His doing), but seek to be more Holy where we are shown by His Spirit that we are lacking. Not to be arrogant or pridefully “holier than thou”, but to spend time seeking the Spirits guidance to walk closer to Christ in His Holiness on a daily basis. Be submitted to Him, seeking and obeying at every turn to walk in that submitted position with Christ. Excellent!! I will be telling others. This is good to hear several times in a year to establish our posture with God.
