In World War II she and her family risked their lives to help Jews and underground workers escape from the Nazi's, and for their work they were tested in the infamous Nazi death camps. Only Corrie among her whole family survived to tell the story of how faith ultimately triumphs over evil. Here is the riveting account of how Corrie and her family were able to save many of God's chosen people.

This book helped me to really put suffering in perspective and encouraged me to trust God even when I simply do not understand what is going on around me. This is a tru story and eases from the mondaine life of a 50 year old spincer who lives a rithmic life of ruteen that turns into a world of crushing nightmares. In the middle of this horific picture of human depravity Gods hand is still able to be sceen and His love felt. This book will be read every few years to help me refocus on the important things in life.
This is a true, first person account of a horrific situation, where hopelessness and despair have become a way of life. Corrie ten Boom, and her family are given the opportunity to put their faith in God into action and show what He can do.
The setting is Holland during the German occupation. The ten Boom's create a 'Hiding Place' for the Jews until they can be smuggled out of Holland. This is the story of how they were able to help many Jews to escape and the price that they paid for doing so.
This is a a story where we can see that God has His hand in all situations, and how He will use even our small faith to do mighty things, if only we put our lives into His hands.
A great Listen that will help you see God in even the most difficult situations.
Outstanding story of Haulocaust survivor with many touch points from the Bible. Challenges in Corrie's life put your own struggles into perspective. Forgiveness for tormentors is a theme that stays with me.
It is amazing what humankind can do to each other and for each other. What an eye opening experience...and so inspiring to see how the hand of the Lord works in even the most horrible circumstances.
I cried several times in this book, not because of the trails of the author, or her sister, but b/c of the goodness or God. The narrator was very good tho very smooth and soothing voice even during some of the harder parts of the story. Great book; it always had me thinking human thoughts, but then God would speak and I find myself not worthy and still, Christ choose to die for me. Thank you Jesus. I am currently in Europe and would love to visit her home in Netherlands I heard it was an amazing tour not a regular walk-through of her home.
