With as many good words that I had heard about this author, I was still surprised at the power and effectiveness of the words in this book! He brings the truth of the Bible into modern-day life and explains how they are still true and still active in today's society. He breaks down several of the miracles that Jesus is produced, and demonstrates miracles within our lifetime that have had similar attributes!
Incredible read, I absolutely loved this book. This gives insight to how God is into doing the impossible. It will encourage you to step out in Gods calling for your life.
I have read your other books and expected the same caliber. Did you run out of material and decide to drown the story line with facts? You seem to really like statistics, surveys and the such, but that takes away from what God wants to tell us. Also, do read into scripture. You presume what's not written I. Scripture. Although that makes for a good story or background information, we don't know. Stick with what God's telling you to share and don't try to impress your knowledge or endless facts.
Great read and study for small group and ministries. Reminds you if you follow Jesus long enough and far enough that we will see God's miracles and signs for us.
A challenging, well written book that calls us to put our faith into action. It is well researched with relevant illustrations drawn from secular life to confirm the divine. I found these illustrations fascinating. My faith was deeply challenged into taking
action by praying prayers that show that I truly believe in the power of Jesus to call the dead back to life.
Friend to the friendless.
A great encouragement on Gods power and desire to show Himself through lived surrendered to Him. Got a dream give it to God, don't fear failure and most of all get started; great dreams are never manifested on the sideline.
