Listening and reading
I like that I can listen as I read. But also, can listen and do other things while still being able to "read" through the Bible and get other things done. It's "power" building the my faith and bringing a new perspective and understanding to ancient language.

Terribly Catalogued
I have been using the bible app and have greatly enjoyed listened Kelly Ryan Dolan's performance. The bible app doesn't let you download the audio through, so I decided to buy it here. Unfortunately, because this was made to go along with the book it just says Chapter x and in that is a whole slew of books and verses. There is no way of knowing where you are unless you catch the quick intros to new sections, but these aren't broken up. I just want to listen through the bible from start to finish, I don't want to jump around. I get that this is made to go with the book, but at least make it somewhat navigable. Even a pdf of what verses are read on what says would be a huge help.

Daily devotional, not a Message Version Bible
What disappointed you about The Daily Message?
I was expecting a Message version of the whole bible, to listen to from Genesis to Revelation. turned out to be a daily devotional bible, skipping from the old testament to the new testament back and forth.. Tried to use it but just not usable for the my purpose. It would be excellent as a daily devotional, just not what I was looking for.

The Chronological 1-year Bible makes better sense
I discovered the Chronological 1-year Bible, which isn't as random as books in no specific order. I'm finding it much easier to wrap my head around.

Waste Of Time
There is no guide as to what day you can search for. If you decide to start on day 60, good luck. You’ll have to go and listen until you stumble upon day 60. Also, the Bible translation is often paraphrased.
I can not recommend this work.
