Publisher's summary

Discover the astonishing evidence for intelligent design in this New York Times best-selling book by award-winning journalist Lee Strobel.

"My road to atheism was paved by science...but, ironically, so was my later journey to God," Strobel says.

During his academic years, Lee Strobel became convinced that God was obsolete, a belief that colored his journalism career. Science had made the idea of a creator irrelevant - or so Strobel thought.

But today science points in a different direction. A diverse and impressive body of research has increasingly supported the conclusion that the universe was intelligently designed. At the same time, Darwinism has faltered in the face of concrete facts and hard reason. Has science discovered God? At the very least, it's giving faith an immense boost, as new findings emerge about the incredible complexity of our universe.

Join Strobel as he reexamines the theories that once led him away from God. Through his compelling and highly readable account, you'll encounter the mind-stretching discoveries from cosmology, cellular biology, DNA research, astronomy, physics, and human consciousness that present compelling evidence in The Case for a Creator.

Also available: The Case for a Creator small group video study and study guide, Spanish edition, kids' edition, student edition, and more.

One of the best Apologetic books I've ever read.

A journalist investigates scientific evidence that points toward God and the scientific guest contributors are stunning and engrossing. Really quite the learning experience for those that like their Apologetics dipped in science. Excellent book, in the top 5 apologetic books.

Investigative journalism with science!

Incredibly in depth journalism of the facts of Jesus' creation and design from the cosmos to DNA, and everything in between! Very we'll done.

A book that all Atheists should read

As a lifelong academic of both science and engineering I have always seen things in a particular way. When I look at my watch, I believe there to be a watch maker. Likewise, as I have grown to understand the unbelievably complex method by which our world has been constructed, it undoubtably seems that the complexity of the design points to a designer. Also I find it hard to believe it only coincidence that mankind has the ability to comprehend the vast greatness of space and time, but it is hard for me to imagine what type of supernatural being it would require to make it. These realizations, along with many others, are pointed out in great fashion in "The Case for a Creator" I Highly recommend it.

Complicated but interesting

There is a great deal of substance to this book. You will not remember everything but you will come away believing that there is solid support for a creator.

Warning! This book is hazardous to your doubts!

This book is the result of the author's thorough investigation of evolution and the alternatives. It also chronicles his journey from atheism to becoming a born again Christian. By interviewing a number of leading scientists, he exposes the impossibilities of evolution as taught in public schools and universities. He uncovers the cover up attempts of evolutionary science. Listen to this book with an open mind. It is packed with information and evidence.

Excellent, Thought Provoking, and Educational

This was my second time listening to this book, and I think I may have enjoyed it even more. I love the way Lee Strobel handles the subject matter, and the way he unfolds the underlying story. I highly recommend it to anyone that has questions about the evolution vs intelligent design debate. I wouldn't stop here, but I would consider it a must read on the subject.
