In so many ways, God is always reaching for us: through circumstances in life, through hardships, and through joys. God is an intimate and loving person who is always looking for a way to draw nearer to us. But if we don't reach back, we will never experience the depths of a fulfilling relationship with Him. Nothing in Heaven or on Earth can change our lives for the better more than a personal relationship with the Lord.
"Not the New Testament message of hope I believe in."
In a world that will not tolerate the mention of sin, and in churches where it has been defined only in generic, sociological terms, one could make a good case could that repentance is one of the least used words in the English language today. Repentance is essential to true Christianity - Jesus Christ himself said that if we do not repent, we will perish - and there are few better guides that have existed in this or any other area of spiritual experience than Thomas Watson.
The Gospel of Mark portrays the life of Christ complete with parables, sermons, and a narrative of many events in the adult life of Jesus. As much a book of history as a book of faith, and is equally suited for both.
All Christians know they should pray, but sometimes it's hard to know how - especially if the minutes start to drag, and our minds start to wander. Offering listeners hope, encouragement, and the practical advice they're looking for, this concise book by professor Donald Whitney outlines a simple, time-tested method that can help transform our prayer lives: praying the words of the Bible.

"Narrator is irritating"
Whether it is true or not that not more than 12 persons in all the world are able to understand Einstein's Theory, it is nevertheless a fact that there is a constant demand for information about this much-debated topic of relativity. The books published on the subject are so technical that only a person trained in pure physics and higher mathematics is able to fully understand them. In order to make a popular explanation of this far-reaching theory available, the present book was written.
"This "book" is a joke - a bad joke"
Perhaps the second most read book of the Bible, you will no doubt listen more than once to the Book of Proverbs masterfully narrated by Glenn Hascall.
