How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Battlefield of the Mind is replete with what I call
This book as such doesn't have scenes
When Joyce talked about her husband making major changes in his life to change from a passive aggressive to an action and results oriented individual.
inspired me to be a better person and love what i have and who i am.
It makes you cry and Laugh the holy spirit workw in you and touches you in ever Chapter.
I really enjoyed this book and it really impacted my life positively and challenged me in different areas of my life. I really recomend it to everyone.
The most memorable point for me was the part when Joyce reffered to the Psalm 51:6
I do believe that this is my absolute favorite spiritual/religious book of all time. This book helped to me under stand that we are under spiritual attack and the devil wants our mind but we have to refute false teachings and anything that does not agree with the Word of God. This book gives excellent examples and scripture to back up the teaching.
No. I think if I would've listened to this book in one sitting I would've missed something. Although this is an enjoying book, for me, it is also a teaching book. I learned a lot from this book. I even bought it for a friend and got the teenage version for my daughter. This book gives clarity and understanding which is what people often lack.
Yes, definitely. This book identifies the root of where the problem begins and where the correction needs to take place first to change the outcomes.
I have not.
Possibly one of Joyce Meyer's best work !!!
I've just finished listening to this audio book and am getting ready to read it again, as it is so packed with good information and advice, in a biblical perspective, that I want to make sure that my mind remembers every bit of it. I admire Joyce Meyer so much, for her strong beliefs, her positive attitude which she teaches us in this book and her candor in accepting and admitting that she had made certain mistakes in her own life and how she changed those things and improved her life as she grew in the Lord. She teaches us how to actually change our way of thinking by explaining exactly how the mind actually works and reacts to certain thoughts and actions... and God's words tie it all together! Although the narrator sounded good and expressed the words the way that Joyce Meyer would, I still would have enjoyed listening to Joyce, herself. I do hope that you buy this book and buy it for friends and family, as I have, since the information and the way that it is presented would be a valuable recourse for anyone and everyone.
Definitely a must read for all Christians! Read it now! Your mind is where all behavior begins. You know a tree by the fruit it bears.
I have listened to this book multiple times. If you listen to this book with the Bible in front of you and take notes, you will come away a changed person. I highly recommend this book.
This is an excellent book about retraining your mind to work for you and not against you by centering your thoughts on God, His Word, and therefore, Truth.
I would recommend this book to anyone battling negative emotions such as anger or depression.
Joyce Meyer encourages actively training your mind to think positively through God-centered truths. She does this without overcomplicating the subject matter, and by recognizing that this is an ongoing battle for everyone.
I will listen to this book again. It is a wonderful reminder of why we should concentrate on God's Word and how important it is to keep His Word on our minds.
