As in her broadcasts, Joni's style is inviting, personal, and passionate as she draws upon her own experiences as wife, mother, and committed follower of Jesus. She also weaves in compelling stories from the Bible and fascination people she has interviewed whose lives have taken unexpected, remarkable turns as they let God take the lead. Surrender is filled with riveting personal stories that show the power, peace, purpose and rippling effect of surrendering to God one's marriage, family, friends, finances, health, career, and daily life. Joni also gives readers practical help and handles on how to surrender to God every day with simple steps and even some memorable ABC's.

I am a miracle worker. Doing what I can to choose love over fear.
I first heard this title when buying it on ITunes. When I had to buy a new computer this title was gone. I knew I had to buy it again: When I am sad or alone I put it on. This is a book you never get tired of. Why? It is based on The Bible, The everlasting truth. I am not a Pentecostalist like the author so we do not agree on the Trinity doctrine;,However, I think this book might be a uniting bridge between different Churches. Unlike other self-help books this book guarantee trials for all which is so true and refreshing. Put this on when things are too much.,It is better than any therapy session when it comes to daily struggles. It can not replace therapy for diagnoss.
All the people we are introduced to like Frida and Douglas.
I always cry my eyes out the last 30 minutes.
I am under 30 and I love this book. It has no age limit:
Inspiring. Encouraging. Anointed.
When she meets Marcus.
When she realized she must surrender her life to truly know Christ.
