"I discovered a computer writing program for the first time, became fascinated, and began recording daily events on March the 9th in 1994. Within three months I discovered I was stricken with cancer, which had progressed to the extent that it was termed 'Stage five bone cancer'. [I was told] that it was hopeless; that it was terminal. The threat of death immediately changes your values; possessions have little value, love, caring, and sharing leap into your consciousness; unfinished business clamors for attention. There are enemies to be forgiven, or at least come to terms with. The three major questions of, 'Who am I? Where did I come from? and Where am I going?' all bounce around in your head, demanding answers.
"Sometimes a door opens in life when all seems closed; this happened in my life, and the following account I have left in diary format because that is how it came to me - a unabridged spiritual adventure which has no ending; no real beginning. It is my heartfelt wish that in the unfolding of this journey hope will be offered to those souls travelling the same path. It seems to me that God has given me the means and opportunity to record these events in my life to empower others who have been stricken with so-called 'terminal disease'. There is another way! I know! I have been there. There is always hope; it is we who determine our destinies. Realisation of our Oneness with the Supreme Being and the connectedness with all other beings becomes a quantum leap of understanding and brings us to the brink of the Aquarian Age. Hold my hand. Enjoy!"
