Publisher's summary

When W. L. Ham approaches the Nagual Lujan Matus for insight into enigmatic events that have marked his awareness, what he learns revolutionizes everything he thought he knew.

Realizing that he has found an authentic guide, Bill enters into a intensive apprenticeship and directly begins to experience the multiplex of luminous interactivity that is our living matrix as never before.

Like countless others, Bill had been galvanized when concepts like "the energy double', "dreaming awareness', and "first and second attention', were introduced in the 1960s. Exploring these fascinating propositions in his own waking and dreaming life, he is faced with discoveries and challenges utterly unaccounted for by conventional definitions of reality.

Bill begins faithfully documenting his exchanges with Lujan, and the result is a most extraordinary manual on the crucial yet little understood subject of reclaiming our dimensional sovereignty. A friendly flow of dialogue belies the gravity of this material, as Lujan deftly elucidates the very fabric of existence with humble yet unequivocal authority. These are no second-hand sorcery tales but genuine revelations from a seer bound by his inevitability to communicate what he knows.

Describing the innermost workings of the holographic universe with rare precision, these teachings decode riddles of perception that have long been surrounded with confusion, providing a luminous bridge to our inter-dimensional potential as human beings.

The sometimes-alarming nature of what Lujan reveals is tempered by the multifaceted affirmation that the key to finding freedom lies in truly applying ourselves to the moment that continually escapes us, guided only by that most precious instrument of divination, our heart.

Oral tradition shamanic transmissions at last!

Would you listen to Shadows in the Twilight again? Why?

What is it like to interact with a shaman teacher who speaks to you, not your self-importance? Listening to these conversations, that were written down for the printed version of this title, brings it to life. There is so much to learn and absorb in this book and hearing some complex concepts as a discussion makes it a lot easier to grasp some important concepts.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shadows in the Twilight?

Every time Lujan stops Bill to bring him back to what is important is a lesson in so many ways. I hear my own struggle in Bill's questions and hearing answers that serve what he needs as opposed to what he thinks he wants time and again is like a puzzle fitting together old and new pieces to create a new understanding that will stands up to the tests of real life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Nagual speaks.

Any additional comments?

More please. This is a valuable contribution to transmission of an oral tradition designed to support understanding that drives real and useful change. Those who enjoyed the interactions between Don Juan and Castaneda, come hear teachings as it is given without editing, speaking to what arrises so it is relevant, both for Bill and the listener.

Excellent text, horrible narration...

Excellent text...enlightening. following in the footsteps of Carlos Castaneda, makes mention and sights connection. Horrible narration. Narrator should look for a different field. painful to hear.

In the tradition of Carlos Castaneda

What other book might you compare Shadows in the Twilight to and why?

Any of the books by Castenada, although Matus has a more intellectual perspective, a bit less spiritual and no consideration for hallucinogenic allies (aides).

Q&A format

the apprentice questioner, "Bill," comes from a vibration of fear and lack, which doesn't always resonate for me. Otherwise, its a worthy instalment in the author's series.

Good listen for naguals

Lujan always knows how to hit the hammer on the nail. Life is simple - follow your heart and your heart path and everything will unfold beyond the mysteries of understanding. Lujan channels wisdom which provides for a safe framework to obtain freedom and transmit in a language that only mystics use.

perfect continuation to the art of stalking parall

A perfect continuation to the art of stalking parallel perception. Great insights into the nature of reality, the focus needed to continue our awakening and the many pitfalls that we must be prepared for.
