Publisher's summary

Do you feel that your life is pleasing to God - almost? When you hear about pastors, missionaries, and popular speakers, do you feel just a bit second-class, as if your life appears lukewarm and not as radical as theirs?

You're not alone. A vague sense of guilt is common in the church. We know God's grace is the key to eternal life, but it's so much more than that - it's the key to a joy-filled walk with him every moment. Josh Kelley shows why you don't have to give away everything you own to be a fully committed follower of Jesus Christ. He demonstrates that...

  • God is crazy about you right where you are
  • You are just as important as any other member of Christ's body
  • The work you do every day can be pleasing to God

Discover the joy of radical obedience to Christ in your normal, everyday life.

An engaging and thought provoking perspective.

The author did a great job of bringing a fresh perspective to the way followers of Christ can view their relationships with God and the world we are blessed with.

Well narrated.

"This life is only the first chapter!"

I love the way Josh Kelly thinks/writes and was entertained as well as challenged by his audiobook "Radically Normal". Through interesting observations and fun storytelling he questions common assumptions and presumptions many Christians maintain while pointing to a vivid new horizon that may push the envelope for some readers.

"This life is only the first chapter," that we are writing by God's grace. Josh teaches us how to be better authors of our first chapter here on earth. How can Christians live wholehearted, joy-filled lives that honor God while still engaging with our culture? Easily found within these pages. It's worth the listen and investment!

What did you love best about Radically Normal?

I liked that josh used everyday life to strengthen his and the listener's view of their faith.

What does Josh Kelley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Im not a strong reader, so If i had read the book myself i would have put the book down before it was over. Having Josh tell the story was like sitting with a freind at a Starbucks shop and having a casual conversation.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It didn't make me laugh or cry but opened my mind to a new way of looking at my faith.
