Publisher's summary

Dr. Goldberg developed the technique and field of progressing patients into future lives in 1977. In this groundbreaking book, a sequel to his best-selling Past Lives, Future Lives, he reveals the implications of karma in our lives, how we are affected by reincarnation, and how hypnosis can reveal our pasts and our futures. He also includes some enthralling case histories from the 35,000 past- and future-life regressions (of some 14,000 individuals) he has conducted.

As unbelievable as many of these cases may appear to the skeptic, Dr. Goldberg spends a great deal of time dispelling the myths surrounding the practice of past/future life hypnotherapy and showing how it is now recognized as a valid and viable tool by many experts throughout the world. This book contends that people have the power to customize and control their destinies. We can all use hypnotherapy to eliminate past and current problems and attain our karmic purpose. To help readers do so on their own, Dr. Goldberg includes detailed self-hypnosis scripts on past-life regression, future-life progression, ascension techniques, and many more.

Could have been better

Any additional comments?

I think I'm reasonably open-minded; however, sometimes this author's content seems to go over the edge of being worthwhile to ponder seriously.

meh

The book is fascinating, but there is a long chapter that sounded like it was intended to be a guided meditation that they never bothered to add music to and it carries on for a long time. the recording is not edited well so it repeats lines multiple times throughout.

Doesn't ring true - Charlatan kept coming to mind.

I am 60 and am well read and open minded on these topics for decades. This book felt like a complete waste of time by a charlatan that was creating his own conclusions without the scientific method. Do I believe in reincarnation? Yes. Do I believe this man is a trustable source for the conclusions he's presenting? 100% no. Don't waste your money here. Too many other great sources out there.

A Scy Fy channel writer???

IMO: After reading the research of Dr. Brian Weiss, Dr. Michael Newton, and many others... someone being introduced to Past Lives and Lives Between Lives, will definitely be led down the garden path. I'd wager, Goldburg may actually do damage to the fields.
This book/theories make no logical sense, and is just the type of stuff that makes ppl role their eyes.
He contests long established scientific facts... i.e. lighting is actually caused by the 'electra-wars that leak from the 5th dimension to our world. Humans have been, and are modified by light creatures from many galaxies away hiding in this 5th dimension. And one example of his future life progression cites that in 2153, ppl are stored on "tape" between bodies. Umm... analog tape has been replaced by the digital formats... yet, his source missed that major detail.
There's time-travelers, UFOs, demons, and more... like watching a week's worth of bad shows on Scy Fy, which even 12 year-olds gag on. The only thing I think he missed, was "Sharknado".
Spend your money on honest research from ppl like Dr. Newton (for LBLs) and Weiss (for PLs).
This is just bogus.
Throughout 90%-95% of this book, the engineer (evidently) has edited-out little snippets of space between sentences... presumably to take off some of the overall length. The problem is- when this is done, it ruins the natural cadence and rhythm of the narration, making it sound VERY unatural... and rushed. Only someone of little professional experience would do this.

Not worth the time to listen

This is a dentist who uses hypnotism to research past lives and goes to the extent of viewing future lives. He appears to want to be a psychologist and trys to cure emotional and behavioral disorders through life regression and life progression. I can accept that past life review might be possible but there is not much theory re how we get to future life understanding.
