Publisher's Summary

While relatives and friends plan your funeral, deciding on a casket, a burial plot, and who the pallbearers shall be, you will be more alive than you have ever been! But where, asks Dr. Erwin Lutzer, will you be? What will you see? Will you see God sitting on his throne, surrounded by angels and redeemed humanity, or will you realize that you are shrouded in darkness, in a region of unending regret and deprivation? In this audiobook, Dr. Lutzer opens up what The Bible has to say about death and the life after death, and explodes the lies about "near-death" experiences and reincarnation. At the end of the book, he also explains the choice each of us must make before we die, the choice that determines where we will spend eternity.

    "one minute after you die"

This was written by a pastor and reflects on heaven and hell as referenced by the bible. I thought it gave an objective discussion with good references without giving a long "sermon". It would be a good book to give to someone who has lost a love one or to someone who is sceptical of the bible or who doesn't believe in what the bible says. It would help someone who is greiving over a lost one. Briefly, he explores channeling, spiritualism, ghosts, baby death, heaven, and hell.

    "Not good for me"
What would have made One Minute After You Die better?

I'm not sure, it was not what I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be more from what we know of people's experience with NDEs...

Has One Minute After You Die turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I still believe what happens to us when we pass is an important subject.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    I am not sure...

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment.

    "wonderful information"

I love Erwin Lutzer and his book was very informative on what's to come after we die. He tells it like it is and makes you really stop and look at the way you are living. I"d read anything by him.

I like it when the author reads the material, it makes it personal.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where will you be one minute after you die?

    "One very special moment"

Absolutely 5 stars. Full of comfort and understanding for the Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and a serious challenge to rest in Him and His finished work on the Cross.

    "Biblical Mis-Information"

Beware - the description of this book is not exactly clear. I thought perhaps the author was going to explain the omissions of the bible when it comes to reincarnation and life after death. But he is just another supporter of religious establishment who feels threatened by the truth and uses the "satan" word to hide his ignorance. He offers nothing more about death than the deceit found in the "so-called" word of god.

If you believe the bible is absolute truth, don't bother buying this book. Just buy the bible. If you like the concept of heaven and hell and no other alternatives, this book will reinforce your mis-beliefs. It will teach you nothing. It’s just another sermon.
