Wild Escapes. A Desperate Journey. And the Ghastly Fangs of Dang.
Janner, Tink, and Leeli Igiby thought they were normal children with normal lives and a normal past. But now they know they're really the Lost Jewels of Anniera, heirs to a legendary kingdom across the sea, and suddenly everyone wants to kill them.
In order to survive, the Igibys must flee to the safety of the Ice Prairies, where the lizardlike Fangs of Dang cannot follow. First, however, they have to escape the monsters of Glipwood Forest (1), the thieving Stranders of the East Bend (2), and the dreaded Fork Factory (3).
But even more dangerous are the jealousies and bitterness that threaten to tear them apart, and Janner and his siblings must learn the hard way that the love of a family is more important than anything else.

Loved the story line. It's a modern day The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. It's a shelf keeper!
This was a great book full of adventure. I love the whimsical way that Andrew Peterson writes. His descriptions are brief but exceedingly charming. I can't wait till they release book 3 on audio.
Forget Harry Potter. Narnia? Yeah it was great. But this is the new children's saga! I loved every single minute of this exciting adventure. Bravo Andrew Peterson!
In this second installment of the Wingfeather Saga, Andrew Peterson continues to deliver the fun, excitement, and drama. The perfect book for readers who like a good story with characters who grow and mature while keeping it interesting. There's a little bit of everything here, humor, terrifying chases, good character development, loving family relationships, and problems of life. A great read for any person who likes a good story!
As for the narration, Peter Sandon is an excellent narrator. In the first audiobook there were actually some mispronunciations; not in the second. The delivery is excellent for an excellent story!
A excellent story for children full of adventure, unusual and unique characters that make you want to devour the entire book in 1 sitting.
I've only listened to his performance of the 1st book in the Wingfeather series.
"Extremely good book"
Yes, because you get more expression.
This is a really exciting book, with some scary parts and some sad parts but I just wanted to listen to it all in one go.
When Nugget saved them all at the Falls of Fingap.
This is a brilliant book, the best book I've listened to so far and I'm 8 but my mum loved it too.
