I have purchased and given multiple copies of MTC as a tool to spread the gospel. The audio falls short however. Ending with a lenghtly telephone interview of the author which is terrible in quality and content. It comes across like a cheap attempt to sell books and is a complete turn off. I would not give the recording to anyone who is not a believer. Very sad...could be a powerful tool. Should be re-recorded w/o the interview.
After reading this book anybody that rejects the gospel will have a healthy enough respect for it at atleast! I am a Christian already listening to this book just served to strengthen my faith.
I greatly appreciate the effort of the author but when he is reading it sounds like he is trying to finish it as fast as possible. I love the content but compared to other good narration it is just too fast and hard to follow. Too bad because the content is amazing.
Please re-narrate at a more reasable pace. I know this was not deliberate and I appreciate the effort of the author.
I love books!
Recommended to me by TJ Casey, a first time author for me, a popular, widely distributed book about being a Christian and believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God who was brought into the world to die for our sins. It attempts to serve as a testamonial to be used to answer some of the key questions you might have about what it means to be a Christian. The book tries to answer some of the questions one might be having a hard time believing. A key point in the book I hadn't thought of was Jesus 12 disciples. After the resurrection, the majority of them thought why did I waste so much time following this guy that's now gone, what was the purpose? Then they recommitted and showed they were willing to die for what they believed, what Jesus had taught them. If you have questions about being a Christian, need confirmation or reaffirmation, then give this book a try. It's a short read, the audio version, which the author narrated, is less than 2 hours.
Where was the evidence? This guy is just cranking out books, not much substance. Bart Ehrman offers a much better historical perspective.
I have not read the book version, but the audio is excellent
When Josh McDowell says that he originally did his research to more or less make a mockery to Christianity, because he was a unbeliever
This is my first time experiencing any book by Josh McDowell
Just so satisfying to listen to the proof and research Josh did and the total reverse that his research did to his faith.
A great book, and Josh continues to update his audio to new listeners. Amazing how many copies have made there way around the world.
