Great, fun listen!

I want to be friends with Bob Goff. His book is fun, witty, and absolutely challenging! His call to people to live a life of love and whimsy is infectious. Even though his personality is polar opposite to mine, I found myself wanting to do what he does and try some of the stuff he writes about in the book. People who grew up in the church should absolutely listen to this book and think about how they can live out the love they read about in the Bible. I have no doubt our world would be a better place if people took some of these stories to heart and lived a life where their love does.

Fantastic and Inspiring

Love does is one of the most amazing books I've ever read/listened to. Bob Goff has led a life truely doing love and living life alongside people. I look forward to reading it over and over, as well as, passing it on to others.

Inspirational and Thought Provoking

Filled with inspirational stories and anecdotes, this book is fun, entertaining, thought provoking, and inspiring.

As the title suggests, the book can be summarized as "love takes action." Our love and our actions are more important than studying, head knowledge, or trying to conform with social expectations of both society and religion.

My favorite quote from the book is "I used to be afraid at failing at what matters, now I am afraid of succeeding at things that don't matter." It gives one reason to pause and consider deeply.

My primary call to action in this book is to take bold actions in every area of life.

Love Does is an inspiring simple read that made me want to DO SOMETHING good and kind and life changing. Love Does because God Does .... God is good and if you let him in, then life will be good. Read the book then go out and do something good.

Every chapter is a vignette and a snippet of life that is so encouraging and full of joy read this book if you Want to learn more about seeing the glass half full....You can be the someone who makes a difference. Take the time to read/listen to this book!

The thing I love about this book is that you could take any one of the chapters on its own and learn a principle from it that you can apply to your life to make it better.
I loved listening to the audio so I could hear Bob reading it himself- his personality comes through even stronger than just reading it.
I laughed.
I cried.
I am inspired to be a better person.
I am motivated to be more active in doing good.
