the reader performed his job well. Present, but not distracting...
The amount and depth of the solid theology in all of R.C. Sproul's books never cease to amaze me. I would always say yes I will probably listen again, because there is so much depth to his teaching, you can never get it all in one trip through his books.
R.C. Sproul is a powerfully gifted teacher, that breaks down the subject matter in such a way that anyone can understand, and grow from it. You could be the newest Christian, or a seasoned pastor, and gain from his knowledge, and adherence to the Bible.
Yes, I want to send this book to everyone I know, I wish when I started my journey I was introduced to this book, but it is never too late. I learned that reading the bible is essential as part pf a Christian life.
So much in our world is changing quickly and we have to come up with new ways to handle things, well its the same with reading the bible. Finding newness in your spirit while reading because the bible is alive and it ought to revive you. This book helps with that.
His emphasis on certain action words and confidence in the reading made e want to pause the CD and do some research for myself.
This book made me think more about how I read Scripture, the resources I use and how to use them us to get the most from them.
One of my favorite quotes was "you can understand the basic message of the bible" the newspaper and some of these blogs are harder to read. Refresh your devotion time with a new improved way to reading the bible.
