Very Interesting

What did you love best about Killing Jesus?

I loved the historical perspective that was more in chronological order and was woven together with other pertinent history at the time of the life of Jesus. This book is for Christians and non-Christians both and will give the reader/listener a perspective not available in the bible or gospels.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I most enjoyed the thourough account of politics of the Roman Empire at the time of Jesus' life and how that had an affect of the events in Judea.

Have you listened to any of Bill O'Reilly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the second book Ive listened to from this author and was far more serious in nature. Difficult to compare "Bold/Fresh" to this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I had a hard time finding a stopping point!

Any additional comments?

Some parts are quite graphic in nature and were difficult to listen to without an emotional response. But, I think this was an accurate account of how how the Romans treated those who were convicted and punished for all sorts of crimes; both large and insignificant.

So much history!

Really sides deeply into the life of Jesus and the culture of the time. Lord of fascinating context supplies from w wife called of sources.

This is such a great book. Bill O'Reiley is such an awesome narrator. Love all his books.

This book gives a window into Jesus life thats very informative and shows Jesus love even more.

A new appreciation for our savior.

This book does a great job of laying out the timelines and the why from the new testament. I loved it and recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about Christ's life.

Excellent way to present history

What did you love best about Killing Jesus?

It seemed to tell the story about a real person not just a mythical character we were taught about as children.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All the characters were interesting in the own way.

What about Bill O'Reilly’s performance did you like?

Great use of voice inflections to give a feel for the character's mind set at the time.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There were some smiles during story and some tears at the end story.

Killing Lincoln, Killing Jesus, next on my list is Killing Kennedy. Love the style of these books.

The best in the Series

I have read all but 1 of the "Killing" series. I have loved them all, but Killing Jesus was by far my favorite. O'Reilly and Dugard outdo themselves with this one.

Review of Killing Jesus

Excellent. Is about all I can say. Missed the documented comment Jesus made to the two thieves who died beside him.

I think I finally understand his life. Thank you

so many things boiled down to an easier to understand explanation while other things have added context that was much needed.
