Proof: The Bible is Supernatural
If someone claimed that the Declaration of Independence is a brilliant document, all we need to do is study the Declaration itself to draw our own conclusion. Similarly, all we need to do is read the pages of the Bible to determine if it is indeed supernatural.
The New Testament claims that the Old Testament is loaded with fuzzy pictures that are actually pictures of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Unmasked reveals over thirty Old Testament stories that point to Jesus Christ Himself. What were once shadowy pictures of redemption in the Old Testament became a Technicolor reality when Jesus Christ was born.
Prepare to meet Jesus in the Old Testament. Prepare to take a whirlwind tour through the Bible and see the perfect, brilliant harmony that proves, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that God wrote a book.
Only God could write one story through dozens of authors over thousands of years about one man without a single contradiction. Jesus Unmasked proves that God wrote a book and you can stake your eternity on it.

Clear, Gospel centered and funny. Todd truly uncovers the Lord Christ in such a way that makes you love Christ more and desire more of the Word. Mr Verkenis, as always, stays classy while bringing Todds satirical insight. All in all the best I've read in years on the subject!!!!
Todd introduced me to Johnnie Mac some 14yrs. ago can't thank him enough. Well done sir, and we look forward to handing out more of the newly updated BIGGEST QUESTION!
Good read (listen). It was so cool to see Jesus unmasked throughout the bible in many different ways. Really loved learning that we will received new unique names in heaven from our God. awesome.
I am so tired of preachers telling me that God loves me but He is going to send me to Hell anyway...
And this clown is no different....
Some interesting historical stuff in this book however...
I loved everything about this book. Tony Verkinnes brought every word to life. The mixture of sarcasm with the truth really keeps u engaged. I'd recommend this book to anyone that wants a deeper understanding of Jesus.
Great book to encourage believers in the Truth that the Old Testament really does point to Jesus Christ as the Lord God, Savior, and Messiah! The whole book was incredibly encouraging and even convicting at times (ex: when he talks about how others may have sinned against you, but YOU killed Jesus! ouch!) but the last chapter, talking about the marriage supper of the Lamb, really makes my heart leap for joy! This book is also great to give to someone who isn't convinced that Jesus is God and that He alone is the way to heaven! Todd does a great job of explaining the Gospel and giving a call to repentance in each and every chapter, if I'm not mistaken! It was super encouraging for me to hear the Gospel every chapter too! Also Tony does a fantastic job narrating. His voice is interesting but also pleasant to listen to, without making you fall asleep haha! Great voice inflection throughout! Kind of weird to hear Todd's voice in the words but Tony's voice in my ears, but I loved it!
I love reading/listening to books! Favs are by Reformed authors. I'm always looking for good biographies, and accurate Church history.
I've listened to SO many audiobooks, I can't really give it the ranking it deserves, but it's one of the best in my collection of well over 100 audio books. So I really think highly of it!
Jesus, of course.... although He's not a "character" -- He's God. Todd Friel is my favorite character :)
I think the book would be a GREAT read.... so I don't want to take away from that, but Tony Verkinnes picks up on Todd's fun and quirky personality very well. As a narrator myself, I'm guessing that he studied Todd Friel a little before he did the narration. Todd is a sold out Christian, that's for sure, but this book, while serious in its intentions about our Lord, is just fun and easy to listen to because of Todd Friel's personality and Tony was just about spot on. I thought Todd might narrate it himself, because he is so articulate, but he chose a very, very GOOD narrator! Tony did a splendid job!
It's too long for one reading but it's definitely interesting enough to WANT to listen to it in one sitting!
This is a book that is SO interesting. I learned things about the Lord Jesus and the "types and shadows" pointing to His First (and one day, Second Coming). Although I am a student of the Bible, this book really did open my eyes to "types and "shadows." There are nuggets of extremely interesting information in this book and I really did enjoy it -- enough to give it several more listens! And kudos to Todd for giving his wife the credit for showing him about types and shadows -- and kudos to my beloved Kay Arthur for helping Mrs. Friel with that study! Great job Todd!
