Bilquis Sheikh came from a family in Pakistan that held government power for seven hundred years. She was also the wife of a high ranking government official in Pakistan. She gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1966. In 1972, sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse, she resettled in the United States, where she spoke widely and shared her faith with many. Years later she returned to Pakistan, where she died in 1997. She was given a Christian funeral.

A perfect audiobook / glorious testimony

I loved the very story. God spoke to me through her story and the lessons she learned she shared with us as well. Simply biblical, simply lovely! Must read!

So Worth The time and money

Very Honest and uplifting testimony of how this woman from an Eastern upbringing learns about God, reads His Word and aspires to live each day with/for Him....I listened to it nearly straight through and will surely return for inspiration in the future. I truly loved it all!

this true story will profoundly move you and you will forever be changed by the way the Lord our Father works, it is so very humbling the way in which Bilquis shows us how to stay in the glory of God. I treasure her story as much as I treasure Corrie TenBooms from her boom The Hidding Place.

Enchanting

I thoroughly enjoyed the regal Bilquis coming into the knowledge of Christ. Her step by step journey of following Christ by faith is a lesson for us all. The narration was fabulous. I also enjoyed the updates at the end of the book.

This is a beautiful story of a high ranking Pakistani woman who at 54 turned from her family religion to Jesus.

it is an unusual and beautifully told story revealing how God deals with us individually. For me it was encouraging and I am grateful to have listened to this story.

Inspiring read

This book is a wonderful treasure to read and it has challenged me to question my own need to be in relationship with Christ once again as I have walked away because of persecution from my own family for seeking to live a godly life in Christ. It’s a book that will always be close to my heart.
