What did Jesus really mean when he said, "Follow me"?
In this new audiobook, David Platt, author of the New York Times best-selling book Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream, contends that multitudes of people around the world culturally think they are Christians yet biblically are not followers of Christ.
Scores of men, women, and children have been told that becoming a follower of Jesus simply involves believing certain truths or saying certain words. As a result churches today are filled with people who believe they are Christians - but aren't. We want to be disciples as long as doing so does not intrude on our lifestyles, our preferences, our comforts, and even our religion.

Have found audiobooks to be a great way to pass time during long car road trips for work, and Audible makes it easy.
David Platt is a great author and a great narrator too. Having him be the reader was an excellent choice.
Great book. Thought provoking and moving. Will probably listen to it again.
David Platt shows in this book what Jesus had in mind when He said "follow me".
This book is packed with great stories, sound explanation of Scripture, and practical steps in being a disciple of Jesus and making disciples of Jesus.
This book gets practical, with amazing examples of how to share our faith. Perfect for us Americans who are tempted to keep our faith hush hush.
God has been working in my life and is continuing to do so. If you're tired of living the stagnant, Christian life, then do something about it. Reading this book will open up your eyes as to what God really has in store for your life as a Christ follower. If you're not ready to make any kind of change in your life though, don't waste your time reading this one.
David Platt has done amazing jobs with both of his books "Radical" and "Follow Me". Authentic Christian Pastor preaching the true word of God which is unusual.
I look forward to getting future books that he puts out. :)
