Relatable/ full of wisdom

What I like about this book is that it makes you feel human and I love the different meditation practices that it includes, there’s not many but the ones that are included are really good. I would recommend this book to whom ever is in the process of exploring different spiritual paths and someone who is open-minded. I still go between chapters from time to time to listen to different lessons in here. I Highly recommend this book if you want to love others better and the world as a whole.

Ram Dass: Universal Friend

Listening to Ram Dass talk is an extremely warm experience. Like hearing a close friend trying to cheer you up when you scraped your knee as a child, you can hear his love for humanity. “We are all just walking each other home”. :)

What I like about Ram Dasa

In this compilation of some of Ram Dass’ speaking events he goes over how he came to his path and what he does to stay on it. I love that he speaks his truth to the best of his ability, that he reveals his fallibility with humor, and that he shows his willingness to pick himself up and keep going as best as he can. He physically died nearly a year ago, but his voice feels very alive and pertinent in these talks. Balancing insightful thoughts, levity of personal suffering, and compassion for all isn’t easy, but he shows you it is something that can be worked toward.

I have not found a clearer book on the path to enlightenment than Experiments in Truth. I fell in love with Ram Dass' stories and his laugh. this is a very personal experience.

Inspiring

I have studied and listened to many great teachers in my life, but Ram Dass has by far the most profound effect on the way I view our life purpose and creating a meaningful life. There are really no words that can articulate how profound his teachings are and the clarity his words bring to so many!
