Mother, Wife and Loving God!
This book opened up so many thoughts and made me aware of all the places were God was at work that I missed because of being too busy. I started to take the time to look at things with NEW EYES and a NEW MIND-SET!!
They all were great!
He made thiings come to life!
The thought questions were so on point they made you really ask youself the tough questions about were you are in Christ and what you intend to do about were you are..
Yes. I have enjoyed the author's work for years. He has a wonderful insight into the will of God. I was disappointed in the introduction, long and sounded like a resume, but the meat of the book was awesome.
Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life. Like this one, it strives to give a person insight into their personal walk.
monotone at times
it inspired me
I absolutely loved this book! I had read it early in my Christian walk and it provided a firm foundation as I grew. Recently, I felt the need to read it again, and was thrilled to find it in audio format on Audible. I decided to share what I was hearing with a group of 20 friends and family via email, and we have been transformed! Since finishing the book, we are now embarking on a chapter-by-chapter study of the entire bible!
Great spiritual insight. Just a little slow to listen to in the car.
Take the time to really digest the information, it is life changing.
This is the type of book what people really exploring their faith and want to truly experience God. I learned much from this book I hope to apply to my life
The parts I liked the best dealt with the importance of learning the names of God and how we come to a "crisis of belief" when we have to decide between believing God or what we see. Those are the parts of this book that I will remember.
Probably not. I won't give a definite no because they presented some wonderful Christian concepts, but I expected more about prayer and encouragement.
No, I haven't, but I would listen to him again because he rendered a beautiful performance.
This is not the sort of book a movie could be made from, but I might go see it if the attempt were made - more out of curiosity than anything because I just can't fathom "Experiencing God - The Movie!"
I found some parts of this rather depressing, and I didn't finish the book with a great deal of encouragement, which is what I look for in Christian literature. I would have liked to have heard more on prayer and encouraging others. I thought it was somewhat "preachy" at times, but some of the concepts presented were very valuable and will stay wtih me.
I would say that it was worth my time, but I didn't particularly enjoy that time, and I don't think I'd read this book again.
