Edgar Cayce on Angels, Archangels and the Unseen Forces is the first book ever published that explores Edgar Cayce's readings on the "Angels and Unseen Forces", Michael the Archangel, and the role of guardian angels. Grant goes on to further offer inspiring true stories of miraculous encounters by everyday people with angels. This audiobook explores the powerful significance of Archangel Michael as given in the work of Edgar Cayce and through awe-inspiring messages that came through the Cayce readings.

I would recommend the book, but not this audio. There is a very distinct difference between reading a book aloud and narrating. Ms. Hogue was very disconnected from her material.
There was no "performance"- she seemed to just be reading the book for the first time.
Edgar Cayce's work is wondrous and I hope Audible seeks more of his material...hopefully with talented narrators.

The first part of this book is very interesting, giving accounts of people who have had Angel encounters, which I love to read about... But the rest of it, probably 2/3rd of the book, is about Edgar Cayce's life, whom I find fascinating, but the problem is, it's really just a recap of the book "There is a River. The Story of Edgar Cayce"... If you've read, or listened to "There is a River", then you've already heard most of what's in this book..
If I had never listened to the other book, I would have given this book 5 stars.. The book "There is a River" is written by Thomas Sugrue and this book is written by Robert Grant. Thomas Sugrue wrote his book in 1942 and Robert Grant wrote this book in 2005. I guess I'm confused that this book has so much information taken from Thomas Sugrue's book.
Don't let the beginning of the title distract you from the end. The book definitely covers more than just angels, though definitely a lot about them as well.
I tend to do more reading of books than listening to audios, but I find trying to read Edgar Cayce's readings a bit tough, much like reading old English or old KJV. It's much easier listening to someone else read, putting in the correct pauses and such. It makes understanding them much easier, IMO.
I particularly liked the way this book cleared up some questions I had on Edgar Cayce's interpretation of the Bible, angels, energy forces, and creation. The author's view and description of the angels and unseen forces, and they way they interact with and around us, was very enlightening and easy to understand.
The only problem I had with the book was that in many places (I'd guess at least a dozen) the same sentence was played twice. The errors are only slightly distracting and really don't diminish the story, but it was so often that I could not rate this as five stars.
Just another human like all the rest ;)
No, I remember it the first time around.
The fact that it was based on possibly the most proven psychic in human history.
Great presentation and build up.
I recommend this book to anyone wanting to know about Edgar Casey or the unseen world. Keep in mind that there is a decent amount of material in this book that is the authors assessment of ancient writings and not factual accounts. Form your own thoughts on the factual information provided, but be intelligent enough not to form a belief construct on any external information, even if it comes from Edgar Casey.
The book yes, but I would only recommend this audio book if the download was free. The narrator was a total amateur, repeating sentences two or even three times consistently throughout, making mistakes, etc. It was clear that no editing was done on the audio whatsoever. Got really annoying after the FIRST chapter.
No! This is the poorest quality reading I have ever had on an audiobook!
This is a great book, especially if you are already familiar with Edgar Cayce's work, but maybe just read the hard copy...
Book did make me question my esoteric view points. Edger always fascinated me with his visions. This book gives a side of his visions that i havent looked at before like his christian side and of cousre the angels he was in conact with. overall good book. its opened up new avenues to explore or maybe old forgotten ones.
It is a rare treat to have access to the Knowledge of one of the most documented psychics ever. I find it comforting to know that God's Angels are with us daily and help is ours for the asking.
If you are seeking an explanation about what's God true nature, this book will give you perspective. I strongly recommend it to those in mourning.
This is a collection of stories and delivered in a rather fractured format. The narrator is boring and monotone. did not enjoy the narration and the book did not deliver.
