What would you do if Jesus appeared to you in a dream? What if He came to you in a vision and told you to follow Him? What if these visions continued for over 30 days? Would you believe? Would you put your trust in Him? Would you devote your life to Him? Would you if you were Muslim? Pastor Tom Doyle has spent 11 years as a full-time missionary in the Middle East and Central Asia, spreading the Word of Jesus Christ. Throughout his journey, he has encountered a staggering number of Muslims who were first introduced to Jesus through a vision or dream so powerful they eventually turned from their lifelong religion of Islam and embraced Christ as their Savior. Despite living in a culture where converting to Christianity can result in execution, these former Muslims have found the hope, peace, and inspiration that comes from knowing Christ. Their stories will amaze you. Jesus is reaching out to Muslims and they are responding. Did you know that Iran has the fastest growing church in the world? Dreams and Visions is a remarkable collection of stories directly from the world of Islam. Doyle not only relates these stories but also addresses the questions: Why would God use dreams to reach the Muslim world? Can dreams be trusted? What happens after these dreams or visions occur? Travel to the heart of the Middle East to meet new believers who have truly been touched by Jesus in the most miraculous way, through their nightly dreams.

Obviously, you have to have a certain mindset to want to read this book, but if you do, it's very inspiring. The author/narrator took a bit of getting used to at first, but I found later I was unaware of the issues that bothered me at first. One could hear his swallows now and then and pause breaks came at not the best times, all of which is understandable when a 'regular' person reads an audiobook! It just makes me really appreciate the enormous skills of the 'real' narrators or actors. However, there were moments that I was glad it was the author who was speaking, as it put authenticity into his words, knowing they were, in fact, what the person speaking really believed. I definitely enjoyed this book!
The stories that were told are thrilling!! I'm so encouraged and inspired by this book!! Gives great insight for those that have a heart to minister and love on Muslims!!
With all the media attention to terrorism by Islamic extremists, this book will show the realities of God at work in the Muslim world. Through dreams and visions, God is revealing Himself to Muslims throughout the Middle East, and they are finding peace and salvation through
You will be encouraged by the true stories of their devotion to Christ, and challenged to see Muslims as God sees them: persons for whom Christ died.
This book is a good foundation for the author's other book, "Killing Christians". Though in "Killing Christians" the stories are more developed, therefore more interesting and more easily followed, this book goes more in depth about the phenomenon of the dreams and visions. In the appendices the author gives the scriptural precedents for God revealing Himself through dreams and visions, as well as characteristics of true visions of Jesus, as opposed to false ones.
All in all I consider this book well worth my time and money.
Excellent narration and incredibly hopeful accounts! Inspires me to pray like never before for my precious future brothers and sisters scattered all over the Middle East. These accounts are so authentically consistent with God's mercy and grace.
It is encouraging to listen to how Jesus cares for these the Father has given Him in this particular way. How He handles each in His own way, & not every way is all together the same; as each person reading this knows what brought them to bow the knee, open the mouth, & yield the heart, & that there is a personal & unique touch to their story that blends into the bigger picture of those spoken about here. They may envy our story as much as we envy their story, but it is all His story, & u see another piece of it in this book.
any Christian book cares about evangelism and the souls of men needs to read this book. you will be thrilled.
"Fascinating, instructive and inspiring."
This is read very well by the author (I'm guessing that Greg Webster helped him write it in an exciting style!) It comes over almost like a novel, but I have no trouble believing the amazing stories of ordinary Muslims receiving visits from Jesus Christ Himself, and then seeking out or coming into contact with a follower of Jesus who is able to explain them. He makes it clear that it is a dangerous decision to follow Christ in the Middle East and also challenges us in the West to change our thinking about those who have been brought up to believe in Islam.
