And then Noah loaded the dinosaurs onto the ark.
Assertions like these seem comical until you realize that many Christian parents aren't kidding when they teach them to their children as facts. Every day, impressionable young minds are conditioned to blindly accept wild biblical tales of floating zoos, talking shrubbery, 900-year-old humans, the undead, curses, levitation, demon/human hybrids and men who obtain super-human strength from the length of their hair. Allegiance to these teachings is expected, often demanded. Curiosity is muted. Doubt is frowned upon as a sin. And for those who dare to raise a dissenting hand, the threat of Hell looms ominously. A former religious radio host raised in the cradle of Christianity, Seth Andrews battled his own doubts for many years. His attempts to reconcile faith and the facts led him to a conclusion previously unthinkable, and this once-true believer ultimately became the founder of one of the most popular atheist communities on the internet.

I've recently begun questioning Christianity. Seth's book really helped verify questions that I had. I didn't have a life anything like Seth's, but I was still able to relate his experiences to my own.
This hit so close to home I listened to the entire book in one sitting. The story is well written and the performance is top notch. I used to listen to Seth on his KXOJ radio show and to hear about his transformation in this book just made me smile. I would recommend this book to any Christian who has doubts about their faith or to any new atheist as a good intro.
I loved this book! I am a fan of Seth Andrews from his podcasts & the book only enhances my progress through my own deconversion. Thanks again Seth for all that you do😄
Delivered with facts, wit and humour that is hard to fault. especially when it is amalgamated with quotes from legends like Dan Barker, Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins. Seth Andrews presents a perfect composite of the 21st century story of man's journey from myth to reason.
This book is great. Seth is a wonderful story teller and his voice is entrancing. As someone who is a musician and songwriter, I can sort of relate to his story. In short, Seth is awesome and I thank him for telling his story and for all he does.
Very good- mirrored my own path to rational free thought enlightenment . A book that all Christians should read if they are not afraid to challenge themselves spiritually and intellectually.
I can totally relate in the transition!!! Thru Studies and Research!!! People have to take the initiative to Study and Learn to know the Real truth!!!
