Thought provoking, but doubtful this was God

Very interesting and worth the time. Challenges many concepts and I enjoy works that do so. I derived some ideas that will stay with me. But in several places the words of "God" contradict the teachings of the Bible. Therefore I doubt this was a conversation with God. Remember the devil is the master of lies and very often takes a pleasing shape. In some cases people who have had such "conversations" discover they were communicating with much darker forces. I don't know that to be the case here. Still it was interesting to say the least and I am not afraid to have my ideas challenged.

A must read!

The whole compilation of the series is a must-read! so do yourself a favor and listen to or read all of the conversations with God books.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I really received much more understanding from this book. My dad was a baptist minister as well as my grandfather. I was raised with very strict religious beliefs and taught all the things presented in this book. I have always questioned a lot of things. I have always believed God is love and not to be feared. I tried to read Circle of Miracles and just the sample was really hard to understand. I am so glad I have read this book as it has brought a lot of things in my life full-circle. I will be reading the next one for the steps to soul searching and am looking forward to it. I would highly recommend this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1?

God is love not to be feared. Talking about Heaven & Hell. It was very easy to understand on the topics of God and religion. Loved the way God spoke when the profanity was used.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed the narrator's very much. The voice of God was very good (the deepness of the male) and the female voice as well. I thought they made the book very exciting.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

God is love.

This book changed my life

While listening to this book I often wondered, is this guy, the author, just making this all up. Is he doing this to make money, is his imagination this wild. If this is his imagination and his idea of a joke he is truly gifted. As I listened more and more I started to cry and realize this is Gods word. All the questions I had about life where being answered. God is speaking through the author to us. Maybe its just my small mind but I think it is impossible for any human to conceive of the answers and explanations laid out in this book. Everything just made sense for some reason. I can't explain it but I've been searching for answers for a long time and this book puts it all into perspective.

Life changing!!

Many of the questions I had as a Child of The Most High from the time I became aware there was a God, has been answered in these books. Man's dogma cause our God to appear so unlike who He truly is. This same dogma is also used to control and feed only man's need to preserve himself. This book is delightful, insightful, and liberating!!
