Is there any Indian, from the oldest to the youngest, who does not love Hanuman? He occupies a special place in Indian epics and mythology and is universally popular.
Even the great incarnations of Rama and Krishna were mortal. But Hanuman has transcended the boundaries of time and is considered to be immortal. He is still with us.
As Sugriva's minister, as Rama's adviser, he discharged awesome responsibilities. His youthful mischief was transformed into grave thoughtfulness in adulthood. Such was his valor that he once leaped across space to pluck the sun, thinking it a fruit to appease his hunger!
Every action of his life evokes wonder. Cursed by rishis, attacked by Indra, protected by Vayu, the wind-god, Hanuman is synonymous with the epic story of Rama. His meeting with Rama in Kishkinda was only the beginning of his achievements. The killing of Vali and the meeting with Ravana as Rama's emissary were some of the feats he accomplished.
Through the ages, Hanuman has been known to protect those who are on the side of right action. He was present even in the later dwapara yuga. His meeting with Arjuna and Bhima in the Mahabharata, and Krishna's foresight in engaging him in the action of the epic, by using him to settle a rivalry between Narada, Satyabhama, and Balarama, ensured that Hanuman is eternal.
It was Hanuman's great good fortune to meet Rama again in the dwapara yuga.
How? Listen to this program and find out! His story can be heard any number of times. This program will make sure of his eternal presence in your life.
