excellent book, having 3 girls my self I had several eye openers moments... a book that will recommend for any dad that have girls and been a big fan of Dr Dobson hearing him reading the book was truly enjoyable. ..
Listening to this book puts numerous reasons why I need to get more involved with my daughter and want other Fathers to do the same. many times I caught myself tearing up, even though I am not a very emotional.
Yes, this book is a great resource for both moms and dads, but ESPECIALLY for dads of girls. Dr. Dobson does a great job unpacking the CRUCIAL role dads play in the development of their daughters. For the sake of your daughters, READ THIS BOOK!!!
Couldn't put it down. Are you looking for a book to better help you understand your daughters and their development from a Christian perspective? Then look no further. Dobson takes the reader through the developmental stages that girl go through as well as provided ways to avoid the pitfalls that plague so many young people today as a result of popular culture. He gives parents the tool to successfully raise their children.
Living in such a fast paced society the values, standards and moral foundations that this book addresses still needs to be applied. Thank you a thousand times, Dr. Dobson.
a book of conservative ranting. I couldn't get very far. I disagree that no matter what a female decides to wear, that is not an invitation for rape. .. or that abortions are used as birth control.
A different book would have been a good start. Or an author with any sense of perspective.
Absolutely yes - I would have never expected to get a lecture about everything going to hell from a book I bought on Audible.
James Earl Jones would have been interesting.
Can I get my money back please?
