Outstanding intro and coverage of Christianity

If you've ever struggled to understand why such a grand drama was necessary to save mankind as we are told in the Bible, this is a fantastic help. There nuggets in here for the seasoned believer as well and Stott makes complex matters very accessible. Highly recommend this work.

Christian Book Nut

Very Great book. The Author did a masterful job on this one. This book should be on every ones reading list who really want to be strong, deep, heartfelt Christians. I plan to listen to it over and over.
This is one of the best narrators ever. He has a great control of his voice and can make you really feel like you are in the middle of the book, not just listening to it.

Crisp Christianity

As a lifelong Christian, this book tied together many concepts I’ve heard from Church and taught me how to deepen my relationship with Christ. I love how he addresses wrong Christian living vs proper Christian living in a simple and matter of fact way based on scripture. And details out how the Holy Spirit not only guides, but drives us if we let us as we repent and follow Christ’s commands.

Another nugget that resonated with me is how our personal feelings do not accurately reflect our spiritual condition with God. How its normal to oscillate between feelings of closeness and distance with Christ.

Overall, Stott explains Christianity and how live as a Christian. His coherent message is accessible to listeners of all spiritual backgrounds and will teach you how to experience and live out spiritual truth.
