"With a true shepherd's experience and insight, [Phillip Keller] leads the reader to remarkable places: to the greenest pastures of discovery and the cool waters of fulfillment hidden in Psalm 23." (Margaret H. Gehman, Choice Books)
It is no accident that David chose the relationship between a sheep and a shepherd as an example of our relationship with the Lord. Philip Keller draws on his experience as a shepherd and in this superbly written book one can only leave with a rejuvenated relationship with the Great Shepherd. You will never be able to look at the 23rd Psalm or sheep the same way again.
The narration does not follow the book. Also there is only 2 chapters shown to navigate through when the written book has 12 chapters. So finding the different chapters is difficult unfortunately. The book is wonderful, sure wish this audible followed the text of the book.
A new perspective
Jesus. It's all about Him
I have looked for this book since my grandmother passed away. I love the way it portrays Jesus, the great Shepard, and what HE will do to save us.
This book did meet my expectations. I enjoyed it, and gleaned information. We, people are like sheep that have gone astray.
